The drive spring is a key component that absorbs and stores the squat energy of the active component of the bolt mechanism in the automatic weapon,and releases the energy storage so that the movable component completes a series of mechanism actions during the re-entry process.The drive spring is subjected to complex alternating impact loads during operation,and fatigue failure problems are prominent.At present,the dynamic characteristics of drive springs,especially stranded-drive spring,are not well studied.The fatigue life analysis usually considers uniform loading and does not consider dynamic impact loads.Research on fatigue reliability has not yet been involved and it cannot meet modern design demand.Based on the analysis of fatigue failure mechanism of drive spring,this paper puts forward the overall research thinking of fatigue reliability analysis.It solves the parametric modeling technology of multiple drive springs,dynamic simulation modeling technology,fatigue life analysis technology,and fatigue reliability analysis technology based on Isight integrated environment.The main research content is as follows:1)According to the geometric characteristics of stranded-drive spring steel spirals,continuous multi-segment function method and sweep modeling method are used to realize automatic modeling of stranded-drive spring in UG NX,which is a dynamic characteristic analysis of drive spring.Fatigue reliability analysis provides a parametric model.2)Based on the analysis of automaton motion characteristics,dynamic simulation modeling of stranded-drive spring under high-velocity impact was performed.The dynamic response characteristics of stress and strain in the process of drive spring impact were studied.The stress spectrum of the location were obtained through rainflow numeration.3)Based on the dynamic characteristics of drive springs,the stress-strain method was used to analyze the impact fatigue life of stranded-drive spring.The analysis results were in good agreement with the engineering experience values.Further,according to the four key factors of the diameter of the reed wire,the diameter of the wire rope,the yield strength and the elastic modulus,Monte Carlo random sampling was used.The fatigue reliability analysis of the drive spring was performed in the Isight software and the fatigue reliability was obtained.This paper forms a method for fatigue reliability analysis of stranded-drive spring through Isight software integrated parametric modeling,dynamic simulation,fatigue life analysis and other components.This method is versatile and equally applicable to all kinds of springs for guns.
