Urban rail transit system as urban public transport system has played an increasingly vital role in solving Urban traffic congestions problem in cities.With the faster development of urbanization in our country,the Chinese government attaches great importance to developing Urban infrastructure construction.In order to solve the urban traffic congestion problem,advance the construction of urban rail transit system in an orderly manner,improve the service level of the whole urban public transport system,the large and medium cities have introduced a series of policies and measures to support the construction of urban subway.In metro tunnel construction,especially the metro tunnel of the core cities,shield tunneling has been widely used in city metro tunnel construction for its safety,efficient and wide applicability.There will be an inevitable disturbing influence to surrounding soil during the excavation of Shield for the human beings,engineering geology and hydrologic geology conditions and construction management,which will endanger the nearby architectures during the excavation of shield.Adjacent buildings upon the metro tunnel will cause settlement of ground surface,cracks,collapse in severe cases for obviously larger ground surface subsidence.which is serious to endanger the health and the personal and the property safety of Chinese citizens.So,how to make sure the safety of adjacent existing buildings and reduce the negative effect to the city rail tunnel surrounding environment during shield passing beneath through buildings.This paper is based on the South Square-the North Square shield tunnel of the 1th line of Changchun,and takes the south station building as an example.during shield passing beneath through buildings.In order to get the condition of strain and deformation on the south station building of railway station,the process of shield constructing is simulated in reality by using the finite element software,then,many effective and targeted measures and suggestion are put forward to ensure the project construction going smoothly.In this paper,the main contents is as follows:(1)The construction principle & method of shield machine is described,the mechanism of ground subsidence for shield excavation is described,the calculation formulas of ground settlement and the sphere of influence are given.(2)The force and deformation of the south station building are get in reality by using the finite element software.Based on the numerical simulation results and real situation of the south station of Changchun railway station,the safety assessments of the south station of Changchun railway station when the shield pass beneath through the south station building is given,which can provides some evidence for the shield construction scheme.(3)Based on the numerical simulation results and real situation of the south station of Changchun railway station,many targeted measures and suggestion are given,the monitoring data of the construction by the distortion monitor are analyzed.
