With environmental pollution and energy scarcity become significant,the structure of country's energy is optimized.Electric vehicles and natural gas vehicles which using clean energy are supported because the advantages of low energy consumption,environmental protection,and pollution-free,small size and high efficiency.The motor for air conditioning compressors in vehicles is an important factor in the further development of small air conditioners for vehicles.Internal Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine(IPMSM)is a new type of motor which using PM to increase power density and reduce the space.This paper takes the IPMSM for air conditioning compressors as the research object.Based on the principle of the motor structure and rotor design features,finite element analysis is used to optimize the design of motor,simulations is performed when the motor is optimized.Meanwhile,preliminary analysis of the mechanical strength and temperature field distribution of each component under the operating state of the motor are carried out.The research work and achievements have provided new research ideas for the development of motors for air conditioning compressors in vehicles.The main work and achievement of this paper are as follows:(1)The analysis of Research status.The structural characteristics of the motor body are analyzed,and the structural characteristics of the existing motor vehicle air conditioner compressor are described combining with the history of motor development.It is determined that the IPMSM has significant advantages in the field of on-board compressor drive motors.(2)The analysis of Motor structure and working principle.A three-dimensional model of8-pole,9-slot IPMSM was established,the working principle was analyzed,and the advantages of a fractional-slot concentrated winding structure were investigated.IPMSM and concentrated winding combing motor structure were explored.The initial basic parameters of the motor is built.(3)Analysis of the electromagnetic characteristics.The characteristics of the IPMSM are analyzed in detail,the finite element software of Maxwell is used to modeling and solving,and the static electromagnetic characteristics of the motor are studied,including magnetic field distribution,permanent magnetic flux linkage,induced electromotive force,inductance characteristics,etc.The numerical analysis of the iron loss,eddy current loss,efficiency are calculated,the rationality of the design of the IPMSM is also verified.(4)Optimize design.On basis of the parameters obtained by the equation of power size,the influence of changes in the main dimension parameters of the IPMSM on the overall performance of the motor is studied with the goal of optimizing the waveform of the induced electromotive force and reducing the torque ripple.The final major structural parameters were obtained.The stability of the motor under different working conditions is verified by researching stress check and temperature field numerical calculation of motor rotor with three dimensional model of motor and Workbench coupling simulation.
