The use of glass fiber polymer(GFRP)rebar as reinforcement of concrete structures can effectively solve the problem of corrosion of steel bars in corrosive environments.due to its brittle failure and other issues,adding some PVA fibers can significantly improve its performance,which has received widespread attention.The GFRP-PVA concrete beam is a new type of structure,which is different from the bending performance of GFRP reinforced concrete beam.Research the strengthening and toughening effect of the GFRP reinforced concrete beam after adding PVA fiber.The flexural behavior and evaluation index of the GFRP-PVA beam were studied,which provided a theoretical basis for the future application of GFRP-PVA concrete structure in practical engineering.The specific research contents are as follows:1.Research the properties of PVA fiber concrete.When the fiber incorporation was 0%,0.5%,1%,1.5%,and 2%,the axial compression test,flexural tests and splitting tests of fiber concrete blocks were carried out to analyze the effect of fiber incorporation on the properties of concrete.The results show that proper addition of PVA fiber can effectively improve the compressive and splitting strength of concrete,but it decreases when the fiber content exceeds a certain limit,while the flexural strength has always been on the rise.2.The flexural performance tests of four groups of GFRP reinforced concrete beams with different reinforcement ratio were carried out respectively.Researched the bending bearing capacity and crack propagation rule of test beams under load with diameter s of 12 mm,16mm,20 mm and 22 mm.The results show that the flexural bearing capacity of GFRP reinforced concrete beams is small,and the test beams will crack quickly.Once cracked,the crack develops rapidly and extends to a higher position.3.By comparing the flexural performance of 4 GFRP-PVA beams and 4 GFRP beams,The influence of PVA fiber on the properties and the mechanical change law of GFRP fiber reinforced concrete beams were studied.The results show that with the addition of PVA fiber into the GFRP beam,the fibers have a certain inhibitory effect on the deformation and crack development of the beams and the bending capacity is enhanced.4.On the basis of the experiment,the reinforcement mechanism of PVA fiber on GFRP reinforced concrete beam was analyzed,The flexural bearing capacity,crack width and bending toughness of GFRP-PVA beam are studied.The results show that The joint use of ECC and GFRP tendons can compensate for for the lack of ductility of GFRP tendons and give play to ECC's toughness.Both of them have good cooperative working ability.
