Mars exploration is not just a hot spot of deep space exploration in 21 st century,but also the only way to Chinese development of deep space exploration.With the success of CE's project,Chinese explorations and researches on Mars are gradually in-depth.The China National Space Administration(CNSA)has formally established Mars exploration projects,and plans to launch Mars probes in 2020.Researchers also carried out a wealth of researches on the design of orbit,spacecraft,monitoring and navigation.Chinese independent Mars explorations have a wide range of needs to Mars data photogrammetry,topography data processing,landing navigation and application and data service.Mars data processing and spatial information services are the key for scientific researches,efficient sharing and deep excavation.Focusing on the requirements of the processing of multi-source Mars data and the establishment of spatial information system and combined with the national 973 project task,the paper researched deeply on the key technologies such as pretreatment,registration,visualization and index.The main work and innovation are as follows:1.Analyzed the key technologies in Mars DEM processing and orbiter image processing,then propose a color enhancement algorithm based on grayscale image.The algorithm can inject the color template into high resolution gray image to solve the color enhancement problem of gray image.The experimental results show that the algorithm can overcome the problems of image fusion.The experiments also compared the advantages of PCA,HIS and luminance.Experiments show that the algorithm can be used in data simulation,enhance of the rover image,and help to improve the quality of the detection data and assist the scientific research.2.Compared the LZD,ICP,GA,SAA algorithms for DEM matching and carried out theoretical analysis and experimental analysis.Proposed a DEM matching algorithm based on ICP and SAGA without control points.The SAGA can take account of the advantages of GA and SAA,which can keep the two directions of accelerated convergence and exhaustive search at the same time.The rough matching of ICP algorithm can provide initial value and accelerate convergence for SAGA.The experimental results show that the method needs less iteration,the registration is more accurate and the global precision is higher.3.In order to improve the query efficiency,the paper proposed an index algorithm for massive raster data based on R-tree and Quadtree.The index enhances the efficiency of point queries and region queries evidently,then extent the node information with statics to increase the efficiency of spatial analysis.The theoretical and experimental analysis proved the improvement effect of the index.4.Constructed a prototype system of Mars Spatial Information System,include processing subsystem realizes the pretreatment,enhancement and registration of Mars data and the data visualization subsystem adopts the service-oriented architecture.The system uses a serviceoriented architecture to support Mars projection,coordinate system and ellipsoid in the process of grid data distribution.Then designed a cache service for WCS to improve the response speed of the visualization service.Validate the processing algorithms and visualization algorithms in the paper,and showed the results.The system is a certain support to the implementation of Chinese Mars mission,the release of Mars data services and the application of Mars data research.
