Concrete filled steel tube arch bridge has the advantages of high bearing capacity,good ductility,rapid construction and curve beauty.It has been widely used in the construction of bridges inside and outside of Chinese city since the 1990 s.The deck type concrete filled steel tube arch bridge is the arch bridge with horizontal thrust at the foot of arch,which has the characteristics of high depth under the bridge and large material for foundation.However,compared to half through bridge and through bridge,effects on the mechanical properties and parameters are rare.In this paper,based on the engineering background and basic model of the MengHua River Bridge and on the finite element software Midas/Civil to establish the basic model and the remaining parameters changed model,analyzing the static performance,stability and self vibration characteristics of the deck type concrete filled steel tube arch bridge.Some valuable conclusions are drawn.The main contents of the study are as follows:(1)The research status and historical development of the concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge are summarized,the principle and advantages of its structure are explained,and the classification method and the characteristics of the deck type concrete filled steel tube arch bridge are clarified.(2)Based on the established bridge finite element model,the stress,internal force and deformation of the MengHua River Bridge under each load condition are obtained.On this basis,the influence of the design parameters,such as the ratio of rise to span,the number of arch upper column and the inclination angle,on the above data is introduced.(3)The self vibration mode and corresponding frequency of the first ten orders of the basic model are calculated.On this basis,the influence of design parameters such as inclination angle,column number and the ratio of rise to span are respectively studied.(4)The linear elastic stability of the structure is analyzed.By calculating the instability mode and the corresponding stability coefficient of the first five steps of the basic model,the influence of the different ratio of rise to span,the number of column and the inclination angle on the stability of the structure are calculated.
