With the promotion of the new energy storage element and its control technology,the modern trams are returning to the public view with a new appearance.The energy storage tram is a new case of the application of new energy storage technology in railway.However,the research about the operation strategy and the power supply system is not sufficient.According to the simulation requirement of the energy storage tram,a simulation system including two modules of operation simulation and power supply simulation is established.Furthermore,the data structure of emulator and the interaction relationship between modules are completed.Based on the dynamic models of energy storage trams,the operation simulation module compares and analyzes different operation strategies.Aiming at the energy characteristics of trams,an integrated operation mode considering vehicle energy storage device SOC is presented.The energy saving optimization operation scheme of energy storage trams is analyzed,and the energy consumption model of multi-objective control is established.The off-line optimization algorithm of tram operation scheme is completed ba sed on Simulated Annealing and Dynamic Programming algorithm.For the on-board hybrid energy storage device,the mathematical model of the energy storage element is proposed,and the process of charging and discharging is analyzed.When the calculation of SOC and the method of evaluation and decision are finished,the energy management system of on-board energy storage device based on Fuzzy control is derived.In the power grid simulator,the mathematical models of two topological structures of power supply system are established and the power calculation method of the charging station is proposed.Furthermore,the equivalent network of power supply system which is solved by Newton-Raphson method is analyzed and the working process and data interface of power supply simulator are established.After all,the first stage project of a modern tram is selected.In which the vehicle parameters and the actual line data are all from the reality.The practicability and rationality of the system are verified after the operation simulation and the power supply simulation.The simulation results of 5 real-time operation control strategies show that the integrated operation mode designed in this paper takes full account of the residual energy and discharge depth of vehicle mounted energy storage device,and the off-line optimization scheme based on Simulated Annealing can significantly reduce operation energy consumption.
