Guangyuan is located in north margin of Sichuan Basin,which belongs to the mountainous hilly area,due to a large population with relatively little land,land resources are extremely valuable.Therefore,in the process of shantytowns reconstruction,in order to increase land supply and for relocation of human settlements as far as possible,there will be the situation of “ask the hills for land”inevitably.Moreover,as the supporting project of shantytowns reconstruction engineering,the surrounding municipal roads also have some relatively rare situations in the general urban roads,such as,deep excavation,high fill etc.The slope,which is 20.00~32.00 m high,with the slope ratio of 1: 0.75 ~ 1: 1.25,is formed on the right side of K0 + 480 ~ K0 +980 section on one Avenue of Municipal Engineering in Guangyuan City.For various reasons,under the influence of weathering,unloading and time effect,local collapse occurred in the platform area on the right side of K0 + 620 and K0 + 780.This paper,taking this project as the research object,in the premise of taking a full consideration of the engineering geological conditions,clarifying the slope type and the failure modes,taking comprehensive consideration of the safety and ecological protection requirements,based on the slope stability analysis and reinforcement principle,through theoretical analysis,calculation and other analysis methods,combined with engineering geological conditions,conducting analysis and study of the stability of the slope,as well as function mechanism of all slope support plans to carry out the technical and economic comprehensive analysis,the final design plan on the treatment of the slope sliding is proposed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Full investigation of research status of slope stability analysis is conducted,the analysis for the possible damage types and the main influence factors of the slope is made;(2)The advantages and disadvantages of different slopes' protection measures are analyzed and compared,and the mechanics calculation models of all measure are expounded,the calculation theory and design parameters applied for rock slope are summarized.(3)Based on the geological conditions of this case,through the comparison and selection,the final design plan on integrated treatment and reinforcement protection of slope is proposed.The stability of the slope is calculated by using the Lizhenggeological software.From the above,the paper,for the case of high slope sliding on the right side of one Avenue in Guangyuan City,analyzes and discusses the stability and design calculation for protection and reinforcement of the slope,summarizes the design method and applicable protection measures of cutting high slope,which provides a reference for the future similar project design and the use of related supporting measures.
