| The limited energy of coal,fossil,etc.,and excessive consumption in the process of use have severely constrained the sustainable development strategy of the energy industry.In addition,the consumption of these energy resources has produced a great deal of pollutants,which has a serious impact on the global environment and climate change.Therefore,the development and utilization of renewable energy resources has been globally concerned,in which wind power is more and more valued by virtue of its clean,recyclable and other advantages with the operation of wind turbines converting wind energy into electrical energy.Small wind turbine equipment,with features of low cost,convenient installation and migration,small occupation of land,is suitable for those who live in scattered remote areas for farming,pasturing and fishing,weather stations,border posts,and so on,which is in line with China’s national conditions.The bamboo-made blades of small wind turbines will be studied in this paper to discuss the feasibility of the smooth operation of bamboo blade of small wind turbines,in order to solve the demand of small quantities of electricity in remote areas.Meanwhile,a new usage of biomass materials can be explored.The power generation efficiency of wind turbines is mainly controlled by blade,angle of attack,blade radians,etc.This article,through the design of wind turbine blade and the reorganization of bamboo as raw material processing molding,studies the formation of the blade strength,mechanical properties and power generation efficiency.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)According to Bates theory,Ye Su theory and Momentum Theory,the designing of wind turbine blade is simplified.The blade’s wind wheel of 1.2m diameter,3 blades,tip speed ratio of 6 and commonly used NACA4412 airfoil are determined.3D modeling is operated by tho software SolidWorks.The processing for bamboo leaf is carried out by the Five Axes CNC Machining Center.(2)The reconstituted bamboo is used as raw material for fan blade.Compared with timber,reconstituted bamboo has advantages of the mechanical properties,higher strength,small swelling rate,better dimensional stability and better abrasion resistance.China is rich in bamboo including reconstituted bamboo sources which has a feature of only 3-4 years growth cycle.A large number of manufacturing fan blades can be supplied with a low cost.(3)With a curtain of blade angle of attack while fixing the blades,the wind speed increases from 1.8m/s to 6.7m/s.The wind speed is divided into 10 phases.The average wind speed of each segment shows a significant correlation that when the wind speed increases,the voltage issteady upward and the wind speed-voltage fitting line correlation coefficient at different angles of attack is greater than 0.9.(4)When the same wind speed average is kept,the wind turbine blade angle of attack changes from 10 ° to 35 °.The wind turbine generator voltage first increases and then decreases.When the angle of attack is up to 20 °,the voltage reaches to a maximum.Because the peripheral air flow field of small wind turbine blade is extremely complex three-dimensional unsteady flow,there is a series of phenomena such as strong three-dimensional rotation effect and dynamic stall.Therefore,the result that the actual calculation of 20 ° optimum angle of attack deviates 15 ° theoretical optimum angle of attack can be understood.In conclusion,the voltage of small wind turbine designed by reconstituted bamboo is in significant proportion to the angle of attack and wind speed.The existed optimum angle of attack in the process of installing blades,coupled with the advantages of the strength,abrasion resistance and cost of the restructured bamboo proves that the reorganized bamboo is feasible in making the small wind turbine blades. |
