Electricity,which is closely linked to people’s manufacture and life,is the major energy that supplies the whole modern society.It represents the development trend of modern civilized society.With the rapid development of the economy,as well as the continuously raise of human’s living standard,customer’s demand for higher power system reliability index is getting increased.Distribution system,as the last part of power transmission,has a directed impact on the quality of customer’s power supply.Hence,the evaluation of reliability of distribution system,which is employed as a method to effectively obtain the reliability level of distribution system,is attracting more attention.At present,the research on the reliability evaluation of distribution network mainly focuses on the evaluation algorithm.In this paper,various algorithms for evaluating the reliability of distribution network are introduced firstly,and based on the reliability parameters of components,the corresponding prediction method of which is given.Secondly,this paper introduces the evaluation index system of distribution network,as well as analyzes the influence of network topology on power supply reliability modeling,which lays the foundation for the assessment.Based on the above analysis,this paper presents an improved portioned method applied for the calculation of overhead line’s power supply reliability of Guangdong distribution network.That is,dividing the line by the segment switch which is took as a node,and in the sub block,the load branch is equivalently divided into three levels: trunk,feeder and station.This method considers the logical relationship between each level together with different blocks,besides,the calculation process is simplified.Example of the two section radial wiring structure is selected to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.Finally,the factors that affect the reliability of power supply are analyzed.The results show that the improvement of three factors,network structure,line automation level,line failure rate and recovery time,is the most effective to improve the power supply reliability of distribution network.
