Turbochargers include two key components which are compressor and turbo.Centrifugal compressor is the preferred inlet solution for turbocharger.At present,the well-developed and widely industrialized countries,most of high and medium power diesel engines have been turbocharged.Decades of development history strongly suggests that the turbocharger is an effective path to increase the engine power and to improve the efficiency of vehicle.As one of effective ways to strengthen the engine,turbocharge technology has become an important direction of current engine development.Centrifugal compressor is a kind of impeller machines,which uses high-speed rotation of the blades to empower air to increase air pressure,so that the air flow direction was changed from axial direction into radial direction.And compared with axial turbomachinery,the centrifugal turbomachinery have a more impressive power transmission capacity at the same rotation speed and mass flow.On the other hand,since the gas in the centrifugal impeller are about to change flow direction,which resulted in more intense secondary flow than the axial-flow impeller machinery.Centrifugal turbomachinery with lower span-chord ratio would generate more friction loss,resulting in greater flow loss of centrifugal turbomachinery than the loss of axial-flow turbomachinery.In this paper,the traditional aerodynamic research and optimization for new tandem impeller blades have been studied in compressor,mainly carried out the following research content:Firstly,prototype centrifugal impeller performance analysis means analysis prototype centrifugal impeller flow analysis to draw conclusion of the prototype centrifugal impeller characteristics.Then according to the prototype of the flow characteristics of the centrifugal impeller modified design to improve efficiency.To optimize the shape of the meridional flow path of prototype.Do modifications of meridional flow path of the compressor and optimize aerodynamic performance and analysis meridional flow path characteristics after modification and compare with prototype to obtain the desired optimization results.To optimize the shape of the Camber of main blade prototype.Do modifications of Camber of the compressor and optimize aerodynamic performance and analysis Camber characteristics after modification and compare with prototype to obtain the desired optimization results.Reshape the meridional flow path and Camber combined to optimize aerodynamic performance.After modification,compare with prototype to obtain the desired optimization results.Finally,the prototype impeller centrifugal impeller technically Expand split design,analysis and optimization.Study tandem impeller design principle and method.Study effection of tandem position \ width \ timing on the impeller performance,analyzing its aerodynamic performance and concluding ideal conclusions.
