The unique flight characteristics of unmanned helicopter and its way of take-off make it more and more important in modern wars.Now,the world's military powers are actively promoting applications of the unmanned helicopter.However,while the unique fighting characteristic of unmanned helicopter brings itself the adva ntages on the battlefield,it also caused some flight safety problems to the aircraft itself;especially when the unmanned helicopter is doing ILS in an unknown area or in severe environment,some phenomena such as “lost in dust”,“lost in fog” and “lost broken” pose potential safety hazards to the landing of unmanned helicopters.This paper focuses on the research of autonomous safe landing of unmanned helicopters,the main research contents include the following aspects:First,the practical significance of the research on radar perception technology during autonomous landing is analyzed;the evolution of the domestic and overseas on-board autonomous landing radars for helicopter is introduced;last but not least,the papers researches are stated emphatically.Then,the emphasis is given to the general design of the on-board autonomous landing radar for unmanned helicopter;first,the design thought is represented;next,the selection of the operation parameters is analyzed;then,the component of autonomous radar is introduced;at last,the main operation modes of this radar system are provided.And,the airborne monopulse forward-looking imaging technology is focused on.First,the basic working principle airborne monopulse forward-looking imaging is described;then,then a comparative analysis is made on the current monopulse forward-looking imaging technology;finally,monopulse forward-looking imaging technology used in this paper is tested through the measured data.In addition,Airborne Doppler beam sharpening(DBS)technique is detailed studied.First,the basic working principle of DBS is described;then a comparative analysis is made on the current DBS;Finally,DBS used in this paper is tested through the measured data.At last,achieve unmanned airborne autonomous landing radar sensor system to distinguish the two-dimensional terrain of the intended landing area based on the existed measured data.
