Energy storage technology can reduce power loss in the energy unprovoked. It can improve the security and stability of new energy power system and further promote the development of new energy power system.Battery energy storage technology has developed very maturely and can be used on a large scale and conveniently.Because there is peak demand in power grid, grid capacity needs to increase accordingly to cope with the peak demand. However, much of the grid capacity is required for less than 1%of the time.So we need energy storage technology.Optimization objective of energy storage control strategy is reducing the power peak demand and lowering life cycle cost.Four control strategies are analyzed and compared. Finally simulation is made to verify the effectiveness of the strategies. This paper is divided into five main parts:The first part, introduction. It introduces the background of the present study analyzes the significance of research, introduced this project investment benefit of field research results at home and abroad; The second part, the relevant theory. This part illustrates the energy storage system optimization principle and the function.Energy storage technology can bring some economic benefits to the grid; The third part, the paper introduces some thories about charging and discharging of battery energy storage applications in the existing literatures and four strategies are put forward in this paper.four strategies have different functions in different situations. The fourth part, compare the simulation. This results of simulation expounds the different effectiveness under the strategies of energy storage battery. The sixth part, conclusion. This paper introduces the research conclusion of this paper and the innovation of the article.
