Multi-utility tunnel is also called integrated trench or comprehensive pipe gallery,which accommodates several kinds of municipal utilities pipelines(including water supply,water,heat,electricity,telecommunications and other municipal public facilities).Compared to traditional pipelines under the road,its characteristics is intensive and integrated.Implementation of unified planning,design,construction,maintenance and management,the phenomenon that pipeline construction and operation apartments care only their own facilities changes a lot.Multi-utility tunnel is usually applied in projects where the traffic is busy or underground pipeline is.For example,city road,rail transportation,airport ground engineering,vertical cross and underground space resource optimization.It is also used in tunnels which need two or more pipelines or loop cables.Sometimes it can be used in road-railway or river crossing,where the width of the road is difficult to meet a number of buried pipelines at the same time.From the planning stage,according to the city long-term development trend,it is important to consider the scale of construction,estimate investment and construction price,remain enough space for further development and maintenance work,reduce the impact on other projects,maintain the city appearance and improve the life quality of people.Therefore,comprehensive pipe gallery is applied commonly to accelerate the modernization of the city.In recent years,along with the development of third industry in the city gradually rise,planning and construction of city business districts is pushed to a new round of development upsurge in demand.The efficient operation requirements will inevitably put forward specialization,intensification and integration of underground space.As an important municipal infrastructure,multi-utility tunnel is involved into the overall planning of CBD,which is a good chance for long-term development.Therefore,it is significant to study the planning,design and construction key technologies of the comprehensive pipe gallery,in order to solve the effective utilization of underground space,improve the traffic function and ensure the lifeline of the city.The main contents are as follows:First of all,it elaborates the concept,that classification,advantages and disadvantages,the meaning and construction background of multi-utility tunnel.Then from the aspects of construction cost,operation cost and potential benefit,the economic applicability is analyzed through statistical data and some domestic cases.It comes to the conclusion that underground multi-utility tunnel projects have more economic and social benefits than the traditional buried pipeline in long period.Next,according to the typical multi-utility tunnel project cases,the investigation and analysis are made about the investment subject,fee category and actual fiscal situation.It introduces the multi-utility tunnel finance and construction management modes,analyzes the existing problems and puts forward some related suggestions.Secondly,investigation is made about the location characteristics relationship between multi-utility tunnel and CBD area in the world.With the application of factor analysis method and index analysis method,taking Shenzhen and Nanjing as examples,fitness evaluation is made from the overall planning and route planning aspects.It summarizes the ideas and methods of comprehensive pipe gallery planning.First,we analyze the relationship between current land usage and urban planning,aiming to find a suitable region for construction.The following step is to set priorty construction area.Last but not least,basing on the combination of the professional pipeline planning and land development intensity to form final pipe system.Thirdly,from the view of overall design,we focus on some key points in the design process.The main issues related to the entry of gas pipes,rain and sewage pipes are discussed,and the development trend of the cross section design from single warehouse,double warehouse to multi warehouse is introduced.In the aspect of node design,this paper expounds the considerations of conventional nodes,and puts forward some suggestions for optimization.Taking a CBD project in Zhengzhou as a case study,the integrated corridor and other engineering integrated nodes are analyzed.In the design of ancillary facilities,the key technologies such as fire fighting system,ventilation system,power supply system,lighting system,monitoring and alarming system,drainage system,marking system and control center are mainly introduced.In the design of disaster prevention,detailed analysis of the provisions of the norms,and provides a detailed design solutions.Present some thoughts related to the progress of the precast,rectangular shield,building form,laminated assembly,BIM applications,large data and information management platform application.Finally,the comprehensive corridor planning and present situation of Nanchang city are analyzed,and some suggestions are put forward.1)We should coordinate the planning of the pipelines,and propose merging the entrance corridors in the same corridor.Combined with the general regulation of the 2030 city planning,forming multi-utility tunnel special planning project.2)We should combine with the recent rail transit construction,road reconstruction project and the construction of integrated pipe gallery,to avoid re-excavation.
