My study is about simplified modeling to the structure of a modified car compartment by using ANSYS Workbench15.0 finite element analysis software.Through static and dynamic characteristics analysis,we check the compartment performance and further lightweight optimization design of the car’s compartment has been done.In the static characteristics analysis of compartments on the basis of the modified car for everyday use,four kinds of typical working conditions are simulated: lodging condition,working condition,brake condition,turning conditions.Through the analysis of the stress and deformation of the skeleton in four cases,we can analyze the strength and rigidity of the frame,and find the weak position in time,and we can strengthen them.At the same time,it can be found that the strength and stiffness of the rich part,lightweight optimization and design.In order to avoid resonance and noise,we try to avoid the inherent frequency from external excitation as possible as we can.Through the modal analysis of the frame structure,the first six natural frequencies and vibration modes are obtained.On the basis of modal analysis,harmonic response analysis is carried out to examine the response of the carriage frame under the action of sinusoidal load.Due to the random vibration generated through driving on rough road,the compartment of the modified car may easily get damaged.So through analysis of these conditions,two typical road conditions are selected,that is the concrete pavement and the crushed stone pavement.After random vibration analysis of the carriage frame under these two kinds of road conditions,the stress and deformation of random vibration are calculated and we found that the modified car is more affected by random vibration when on the gravel road.The method of changing the size of the local square steel tube is chosen to achieve the purpose of lightweight through the analysis of the structure and the material.In conclusion,this compartment can fully satisfy the needs by the analysis of random vibration and tests in this study.This study provides a basic theory for the design and optimization of the compartment,and also a reference for the design of the same kind of modified car compartment.
