Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer,which is called CFRP,is a new type of composite material.It consists of multi-strand continuous fibers,and solidified by resin matrix,then shaped by drawing and surface treatment.Carbon fiber composite materials due to high-strength,lightweight,corrosion resistance,are increasingly widely used in practical engineering,especially in proposing as an alternative to steel tendons in post-tensioning applications.However,the CFRP bar is a kind of anisotropic material,although its tensile strength is very high,its radial shear strength is about 20% of its tensile strength.In engineering application,because of the low transverse strength of CFRP,it becomes a difficult problem of CFRP anchoring,and the most common result is premature failure.In order to overcome this defect,it is necessary to study its properties that match the anchorage system.Some scholars at home and abroad have proposed bond-type anchorage to replace the traditional clamping anchorage.The performance of the CFRP bond-type anchorage is studied in this paper.In view of the complicated process of the anchorage,the methods used in this paper were the following:1.First of all,the adhesive layer of the anchorage between the sleeve and CFRP tendon was simplified as the interfacial bonding interface,then mechanical characteristics and stress distribution mode were analysed.2.Secondly,based on the theory of finite element,and with the contact analysis of ANSYS,loading process of CFRP anchorage was simulated.3.Thirdly,combined with the existing CFRP anchorage system and the relevant standards,the design of anchorage was optimized.4.Finally,combining theory with practice,the anchorages were manufactured according to the design,and static loading test was proceeded.Through the comparison of the values of the measure and theory,the relevant aspects of the results were obtained.The main conclusions were as follows:1.Through the ANSYS finite element analysis software,the stress and shear stress distribution of these bond-type anchorages were obtained.2.By the test results,the causes of the failure mode were found.3.Compared with the test and theoretical results,to verify the different of the force characteristics of different anchorage,and to have the significance for the design and optimization of the anchorage.
