In the Xinjiang area of our country, due to its special geographical location, most of the local soil is dominated by saline soil. This kind of soil is very special and has unique characteristics. When the ambient temperature and water change, salt Soil will change simultaneously. Therefore, under the background of this kind of soil, the environment in Xinjiang is unusually changeable, causing various diseases such as spattering and sedimentation. If we do not set a scientific and rational treatment plan to treat the saline soil area,it will have a bad influence on the roads in the area.In view of this, before carrying out the study, this article will eliminate the disease such as salt expansion and settlement in engineering construction as the research purpose, and combine the relevant case and theoretical knowledge to explore how to strengthen the saline soil to reduce its disease, thereby increasing the efficiency and quality of construction. In order to make the research more specific, this article defines the saline soil area within the range of the S315 Line Bee Farm and the Nileke Section of Xinjiang as the research carrier of this paper. In order to improve the objectivity of the study, use compaction, particle analysis, contents and properties of soluble salt, indoor dissolution experiment, triaxial shear test, direct shear test and other experimental programs,to explore the various physical and chemical properties of saline soil. The experimental results and experimental hypotheses were contrasted, and the variation rules and reasons of internal stress, moisture content and salinity were summarized when the saline soil swells and collapses. Finally, the characteristics of saline soil are discussed.
