With the continuous promotion of reform and opening up,the continuous prosperity of the market economy,and the rapid development of China’s packaging industry,due to the influence of globalization,the Western cultural landscape is impacting China’s packaging design market with a strong momentum,resulting in the loss of packaging language in China’s packaging design.The dislocation of design heritage has seriously hindered the sound development of China’s packaging design business.Therefore,under the influence of globalization,China’s packaging design seeks to find its own attributes of the national culture,how to reflect its own national cultural spirit,how to properly integrate nationality and modernity,and how to move from cultural awareness to cultural self-confidence and creativity.Packaging products with Chinese charm and meeting the needs of the modern market have become an important topic in the packaging design community in China today.Contemporary Chinese packaging design is not a single individual.It is not only a concrete manifestation of a certain civilization,a certain type of culture,and a certain design method.It is based on the foundation of traditional Chinese culture and traditional creation ideas,and absorbs all advanced civilizations of mankind.This is an integrated and civilized embodiment of inclusiveness.It is an interaction with other aspects of Chinese society and even the process of globalization.The visual features,color languages,and art forms with ethnic characteristics support the development of the individual visual arts with their strong vitality,and they have an irreplaceable position.Careful analysis of the unique and rich Chinese elements of the nation and the construction of Chinese design discourse power with national characteristics can be invincible in the international competition.This topic is divided into four parts,through the analysis of the status quo and existing problems of China’s packaging design,to explore the reshaping of Oriental culture of contemporary Chinese packaging design and how to establish the confidence of Chinese design.First of all,it proposes the current drawbacks of contemporary Chinese packaging design and the resulting cultural thinking,which leads to the cultural appeal of contemporary Chinese packaging design.And from the three aspects of shaping principles,ideas and methods of Oriental cultural identification,the complete design system of modern Chinese packaging design is discussed and discussed,which is the core part of the thesis topic.Finally,China’s packaging design from the cultural self-consciousness to cultural self-confidence issues were discussed,but also the first three parts of the topic of refinement and sublimation.
