The urgent demand for high-power and high-energy-density energy compels us to find novel energy storage devices to meet the needs of sustainable development. At the same time, the rapid growth of portable devices is also forcing us to find an efficient and safe energy storage devices to maintain the daily work of the equipment. Therefore, the emergence of supercapacitors has changed this situation to some extent.Currently, supercapacitor materials are not only limited to traditional materials, but metal sulfides are also widely studied as electrode materials. The self-supporting three-dimensional nanostructure material may be defined as:an active material is directly deposited on the conductive substrate or directly on the conductive substrate to form an non-dense nanostructured layer without incorporating an adhesive or a conductive additive. This paper combines the two organically and mainly studies the preparation and electrochemical properties of metal sulfide-based self-supporting materials based on foamed nickel and foamed copper.?1?The hydrothermal method, the mechanical-alloy method and the chemical co-precipitation method are used to synthesize the stannous sulfide in the layered structure and the rod-like structure, and the electrochemical properties of pure stannous sulfide are studied.By one-step hydrothermal method we successfully prepare SnS/Ni3S2/Ni self-supporting materials, and optimize hydrothermal conditions to increase the specific capacity of obtained sample. The specific capacity reach to 1174 F-1 at a current density of 1A g-1.?2?We try to successfully grow a hollow tubular Cu2S on the copper foam surface by simple two-step hydrothermal reaction on copper foam For the first time,.The electrochemical properties of the self-supporting material based on copper foam are systematically studied.Broaden the research object of self-supporting materials.?3?The multi-morphological Cu2SnS3 is synthesized by the hydrothermal method.Cu2SnS3 is used as the supercapacitor material for the first time, and its electrochemical performance is studied.Through the characterization of the microstructures of Cu2SnS3with different morphologies, the relationship between structure and properties is expounded, and the application of ternary metal sulfide Cu2SnS3 in the field of energy storage materials is broadened.
