With the flight delays caused by air traffic congestion getting worse,it is a new valid way to decrease the flight delay by establishing sectors network and analyzing the characters and invulnerability systematically,from the aspect of control sectors,the basic units of Air traffic control(ATC).Construction and analysis of sectors network.Employing the method of complex networks,sectors network is established,considering sectors as nodes,linking the nodes if flights fly directly from one sector to the other.Correspondingly,degree,strength,average shortest path length,clustering coefficient and betweenness of the sectors network are defined.By the instance analysis of a scale of airspace belonging to Central and Southern China region,the distribution of degree is pretty homogeneous,which is different from strength and betweenness whose distributions follow exponential functions.Degree has an influence on other metrics,which strength does not show.The result indicates assortativity is another property of the sector network as well.The invulnerability of sectors network is studied in static condition.Under the random attack and selective attack,the static invulnerability of control sectors network is assessed by network efficiency and the ratio of maximal connected subgraph.Taking the sectors network of Central and Southern for example,degree is indicated as the significant metric to network construction,which determines critical sectors.Then attack the critical sectors,indicating potential critical sectors,the most susceptible sectors.The cascading failures invulnerability of sectors network is studied.The cascading failures model of sectors network is proposed,defining load and capacity of sectors network nodes,analyzing the progress of cascading failures,establishing failure measure index,critical threshold and sectors abnormal rate.Two optimizing methods,the adjacent load redistribution strategy based on the residual capacity of the nodes and the local load redistribution strategy are put forward and simulation analyzed,and the local load redistribution strategy is proved to significantly boost the cascading failures invulnerability of sectors network by simulation analysis.
