The current situation of urban development in China has become a problem that restricts economic development.Reasonable scheme of road network design can make the land and investment funds get the most reasonable use,and bring the biggest economic and social benefits.Robustness is the description of the road network’s sensitivity to the external disturbance reaction to the change of the road network’s performance in the face of external disturbances.At present,in the process of planning and designing of road network,the network robustness of road has not been paid much attention.Due to network users are people,and in the practical operation of road network,road network will be affected by various kinds of interference,considering the robustness of network in network planning and designing will help the management distribute land resources and investment funds more reasonablely to targeting improvements to the network and a more robust network at risk.In this paper,robustness is considered as a factor for road network design,and a robust network design model is built.First of all,this paper defines the robustness of the road network and compares it with the concept of reliability,vulnerability and stability in order to make the concept of road network robustness more explicit,and based on the analysis of the factors that influence the robustness of network and the evaluation index of robustness of the complex network,the evaluation indexes of robustness of network based on network efficiency and travel cost are established.And then Then,the key roads identification is carried out from the two aspects of the influence of the interference and the probability of interference.Specific operation is first does not consider the effect of flow,from the Angle of pure network to identify the network’s main road,again by traversal method to identify the important section of road network,and important sections and the main road intersection is the paper research the key sections.Finally,in this paper targeting travel costs and investment establishes the model of network design whose variance is constrained by the disturbance for key roads,and establishes a algorithm which is based on Iterative-Optimization-Assignment Algorithm and Genetic algorithm.The influence of the network and the improved network on the network performance is analyzed.Finally,The model and algorithm are verified by an example.The analysis shows that by improving the traffic capacity of the key roads in the network,the robustness of the network can be effectively improved and the more robust road traffic network can be constructed.
