With the rapid development of China's urbanization process over the years, the original urban infrastructure has not been able to better serve the economic construction and improve the people's life. The construction, operation and maintenance of the traditional lifeline system aggravate the pressure of urban operation and haunt the people's life, the appearance of the underground utility tunnel reversed the situation. The underground utility tunnel is the urban underground structure which integrates all kinds of lifeline systems in the underground and realizes the function integration.Once the utility tunnel completed which can can provide a stable and lasting service to economic construction and improvement of people's livelihood, and bring enough vitality to the city development. The construction of urban underground utility tunnel is a matter of the national economy and the people's livelihood, the construction of utility tunnel is imperative and which has a long way to go.Inevitably, there will be rainfall in the construction stage of underground utility tunnel, the safety of foundation pit slope under condition of rainfall infiltration should not be ignored;at the same time, the important guarantee of the normal operation stage of the underground utility tunnel is to control the deformation of the underground utility tunnel in the ground soil, which also makes it necessary to study the contact between the underground utility tunnel and the soil.Using the geotechnical finite element software Midas GTS NX to simulate the rainfall on the foundation pit slope of the underground utility tunnel and the contact between the utility tunnel structure and the soi l can help to further understand the underground utility tunnel.Relying on a underground utility tunnel construction project in Wuwei City, the stability of the foundation pit slope of the underground utility tunnel under the condition of rainfall infiltration was studied, and the contact between the utility tunnel structure and the soil was also studied. The analysis shows that the reinforcement effect of anchor support on the foundation pit slope is obvious;the greater the rainfall intensity, the greater the displacement response of the foundation pit slope, the greater the disturbance of the foundation pit slope,at the same time, the change of rainfall type has a significant impact on the stability of foundation pit slope. From the analysis of the contact between the utility tunnel structure and the surrounding soil,it can be concluded that the change of the internal friction angle directly affects the friction coefficient of the structure-soil interface, and the internal friction angle is far greater than the friction angle of the structure-soil interface, and the change of internal friction angle has little influence on the force of the utility tunnel in the soil, and it has little influence on the settlement in the soil;the change of bed coefficient of foundation has almost no influence on the force of the utility in the soil, and has a great influence on the settlement of the utility tunnel in the soil. The study shows that the larger the coefficient of foundation bed,the greater the friction angle of soil, the smaller the settlement of the untility tunnel and the more stable force of the underground utility tunnel.
