The Sichuan-Tibet Railway is known as the "most difficult Railway" by the engineering community.The line shows many ups and downs,and the maximum height difference is one thousand and four hundred meters.The Sichuan-Tibet Railway has extreme geological conditions,among which the frequent mountain disasters,the fragile ecology,and the strong plate activity have caused great challenges and disadvantages to the routine route survey.Based on the railway digital location system,the virtual environment model of engineering geology is established for the route area of Sichuan-Tibet Railway,three dimensional geological virtual environment can be used to demonstrate the various geological hazards in Sichuan-Tibet Railway,from the point of view of design,it can provide guidance for line selection for line selection engineers.It can also provide important technical support for line maintenance from operating point of view,which is of great significance.At the same time,establishing a database management system for the achievement management of Sichuan-Tibet Railway line can efficiently manage the complicated results generated in the design process and improve the design efficiency.The main research works and achievements in this paper are as follows:1)The railway digital line selection system is studied.The feasibility of establishing the virtual environment model of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway engineering geology is clarified from the system hardware structure,the software integration technology,the modeling principle and the method.2)The topographic and geological conditions of Sichuan-Tibet Railway project are studied,and many bad geological areas are analyzed,and the necessity of establishing the virtual environment model of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway engineering geological environment is expounded and analyzed according to the bad geological conditions.3)The virtual environment model of the engineering geology in the section of Sichuan-Tibet Railway is established by using the digital railway line selection system,and the guidance of the geological selection is carried out by the model.4)Based on the many circuit design results produced in the design process of Sichuan-Tibet Railway,the Access platform and VBA language are used to design the lineresults management database system,which greatly facilitates the management of the line results and has a certain significance for the improvement of the design efficiency.
