UAV Swarm have the ability to perform tasks collaboratively. There are obvious advantages in military, emergency rescue, remote sensing, and ground monitoring. It is important to design the Flying Ad-hoc Network(FANET)for the UAV swarm system. The performance of the routing protocol directly affects the performance of the FANET and receives great attention. The FANET composed of UAV swarm has features such as high node density, large scale,time-varying mission and topology, and so on.As a result, there is a problem that link quality is difficult to predict in routing protocols and it is difficult to cope with the frequent failure of routes. As a result, the network performance of the FANET routing protocol is degraded and the QoS constraints of the task cannot be met. This article addresses the issues in the FANET routing protocol. The main research content has the following two aspects:1)A data-driven FANET link quality prediction mechanism is proposed to solve the problem of FANET link quality prediction.Use link quality prediction mechanism to fully mine the link quality information contained in the local topology information.Firstly, the feasibility and precision requirements of the link quality prediction mechanism have been analyzed. Then model the FANET link quality prediction problem.Use data mining methods to solve prediction problems.Build a FANET link quality prediction mechanism that can synthesize multi-dimensional information such as node busyness, node mobility information, link density, and channel information to generate accurate and reliable link quality metrics.2)Aiming at the frequent failure of routing in FANET,an AODV routing protocol with local topology information(LTI-AODV)is proposed.Through the construction of the local topology environment, the local topology information required for improving the routing protocol is satisfied; The route discovery strategy of on-demand routing protocol AODV is improved by using routing metric that takes into consideration link quality and route repair effects, help establish more stable routes; This paper proposes an improved route maintenance method based on link quality prediction mechanism and local topology information to achieve preemptive route repair and backup routes within the local topology.Design experiments to verify the validity of the two studies.First, collect data from a typical FANET scenario and train a machine learning model in OPNET.Test the performance of the model on the test set.The advantages of the link quality prediction mechanism with respect to random selection are verified. Then, the LTI-AODV routing protocol is implemented in OPNET,and the comparison of network performance simulation experiments with the performance of AODV and 2hop-AODV routing protocols in FANET is designed. The experimental results show that the performance of the LTIAODV routing protocol is better than the AODV and 2hop-AODV routing protocols in a large-scale,high-load,dynamic scenario typical of FANET.
