Camellia oleifera is an important woody oil-bearing plant in China. Clone afforestation is the main application in production.There are some diversity of difference clonal growth and production.One-year-old seedlings were studied to test their characteristics of drought tolerance and to set up the best species of ten species of Camellia oleifera Clones in thisthesis.Itfollowings:changlin27,ganwu1,ganwu11,ganwu2,ganshi83-1, ganshi84-3,changlin56,ganwu24,gan55,changlin4.It can be form three drought gradient from water controlled of potted seedlings and determination their physiological and biochemical index and dynamic changing and choose the best species of drought tolerance providing theoretical basis for the breeding of Camellia oleifera Clones by the method of fuzzy mathematics comprehensive analysis. Determination of index include the diameter leaf greenness, Photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, water use efficiency, natural water content relative water content, water loss rate, water consumption, water consumption rate, soluble sugar, soluble protein, free praline.malondialdehyde (MDA)and Peroxidase (POD) content. This study show that:1.As dry strength increasing, The survival rates of Camellia oleifera Clones show a downward trend, The survival rates of Ganwu11,Ganshi83-1and Changlin56are less than50%under severe drought-stress.It means that the ability of drought resistance is relatively weak. The survival rates of Gan55and Changlin27are more than any other Camellia oleifera Clone,It means that they can adapt to relatively arid environment for keeping enough water.We know thatGanwul.Changlin4and Changlin27have a greater impact,Gan55and Ganwu24have a smaller impact from drought-stress characters.2. As dry strength increasing, natural moisture content, relative water content decreased, the decreased of amplitude is not the same, there are significant differences; variation of amplitude of Ganwu24,Ganwu11are change large, variation of amplitude of Ganshi84-3,Changlin27are change small. It can be say that the water retaining capacity of Ganshi84-3,Changlin27are much better than the other clones. the loss rate of water is mitigation and water consumption is reduced of the tissue of Camellia oleifera clone, In order to maintain turgor, the leaves cell water-holding capacity of Camellia oleifera Clones is Gradually enhancing. According to the different from the loss rate of water, we know that the drought resistance of Ganwul is better than Gan55,Ganwu2;drought resistance of Gan55,Ganwu2are better than Ganwu11,Gan-shi84-3.3. As the increasing of stress durations, photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate are decreased, transpiration rate is obviously decreased, and we can know evident " lunch break" from the trend of photosynthesis diurnal variation of Camellia oleifera Clones when the weakest drought stress. while transpiration rate showed a single-peak changes, The rate of photosynthesis has two obvious peak in a day and the two peaks are mainly concentrated in the time at12:00and16:00, the first show decreased and then increased, reaching the minimum value at about14:00. The photosynthesis rate of Ganwu11has been in a relatively low level under drought-stress. It means that it is sensitive to the changing of soil moisture.4. The soluble protein content is accumulation as drought stress increasing. It has a positive meaning to adapt to dry environment. the high content of soluble protein of Camellia oleifera clone has the strong drought-stress.Gan55and changlin4have much soluble protein,Ganshi84-3and Ganwul have less soluble protein, the content of soluble protein of Changlin4is increasing more quickly. in addition, the content of MDA, soluble sugar content, freely proline are have a similar to the changing tendency of soluble protein.5. The result of drought tolerance comprehensive evaluation of thirteen morphological and physiological indexes show that the right order:Gan55>Changlin27>Ganshi83-1>Ganwu24>Changlin4>Ganshi84-3>Ganwu1>Chan glin56>Ganwu2>Ganwu11.
