At present landscaping is widely advocated,focusing on planting new characteristic flowers which have high or namental value and easy to maintain.As the "948" Introduction Project of State Forestry Administration,Scaevola aemula'Sunfan' was planted on a small scale with huge market space for development.Scaevola aemula'Sunfan' with more leggy stems,more yellow leaves,smaller and less flowers after introduced from abroad.Research to improve Sunfan's negative phenomena has not been reported in China.Plant growth retardants can regulate plant growth and development,improve the ornamental quality.In this study,effects of CCC and PP333 on morphological index,physiological and biochemical and chlorophyll fluorescence index in Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' leaves were investigated in May,2013.The one-year-old Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' cutting seedlings were foliar sprayed with(0,10,50,100,200,300 mg/L)CCC and(0,10,50,100,200,300)mg/L PP333.And the optimum regression equation of antioxidant enzyme activity and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of Sunfan is established.Finally reach the following conclusions:(1)Treatment of CCC and PP333 could make Scaevola aemula'Sunfan' height dwarf,branch length shorten and the length and width of functional leaf and length of petiole shrink;and the diameter of Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' stem,diameter of branch and the length of flower scale length,flower radius and stalk increase.At the 7th day in the treatment process,the plant height,branch length,the length and width of functional leaf and length of petiole all are reduced along with the increase of treatment concentration and reach the smallest value with the concentration at 300mg/L.The diameter of Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' stem,diameter of branch and the length of flower scale length,flower radius and stalk present first-increase-then-decrease tendency along with the increase of treatment concentration.Furthermore,the effect of treatment of 100mg/L CCC and 200mg/L PP333 to promote the diameter of Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' stem increase is the most remarkable;the effect of treatment of 200mg/L CCC concentration and 100mg/L PP333 to promote the flower scale length and flower radius increase is the most remarkable;and the effect of treatment of 100 mg/L CCC concentration and 100 mg/L PP333 to promote the diameter of branch and the length of stalk increase has the same effect.(2)The control of treatment of CCC for the length of stalk,functional leaf and petiole is superior to that of treatment of PP333.The control of treatment of PP333 for the plant height,branch length,functional leaf width,stem diameter,branch diameter,flow scale length and flower radius is superior to that of treatment of CCC.Plant height of 'Sunfan' was significantly related branch length and functions leaf(leaf length,leaf width,petiole length),and 'Sunfan' plant height increases with the decreases of branch length and functions leaf(leaf length,leaf width,petiole length).Flower scale length,flower radius of 'Sunfan'was significantly related stem diameter and branch diameter,and flower scale length,flower radius increases with the increases of stem diameter and branch diameter.(3)The antioxidant enzyme activity(SOD,CAT and POD),chlorophyll content,soluble sugar content and soluble protein content of Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' can be significantly increased through treatment of CCC and PP333.The antioxidant enzyme activity presents first-increase-then-decrease tendency along with the time of treatment at most CCC and PP333 treatment concentration.At the 7th day,the antioxidant enzyme activity and chlorophyll content present first-increase-then-decrease tendency along with increase of treatment concentration.The antioxidant enzyme activity relationship of Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' is close under treatment of CCC and PP333.The antioxidant enzyme activity shares the consistent change rules with Ch1,soluble sugar and soluble protein.(4)The effect of SOD,CAT and POD activity,and chlorophyll content is the best under treatment of 200mg/L CCC and 100mg/L PP333 in the observation period.At the 21st day,SOD,CAT and POD activity and chlorophyll content reach the maximum and MDA content reaches the smallest.The effect of soluble sugar is most remarkable under treatment of CCC and PP333 concentration at 100mg/L.At the 14th day,the soluble sugar reaches the maximum value.The effect of soluble protein is the most remarkable under the treatment of 200mg/L CCC and 100mg/L PP333.At the 7th day,the soluble protein content reaches the maximum value.(5)Under treatment of CCC and PP333,Fv/Fm,Fv'/Fm' and Fv/Fo firstly increase and then decrease along with the increase of treatment concentration which are obviously higher than CK(P<0.O5).?PS? and ETR for the Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan'present increase first and then decrease tendency along with treatment concentration,which are obviously higher than the comparison(P<0.05)and Fv/Fm,Fv'/Fm',Fv/Fo,?ps? and ETR reach the maximum value under treatment of 200mg/L CCC and 100mg/L PP333.(6)Under the treatment of CCC and PP333,with the increase of the treatment concentrations,qP demonstrates increase first and then decrease;in the 100mg/L CCC and 50mg/L PP333 treatment,it reaches its maximum.With the increase of the treatment concentrations,NPQ demonstrates decrease first and then increases and then decreases,and all reach to the minimum value In the 300mg/L treatment.With the increase of the treatment concentrations,Y(NO)demonstrates increases first and then decreases and then increase;in the 200mg/L CCC and 100mg/L PP333 treatment,it achieves the maximum value.Y(NPQ)demonstrates first decreases and then increases;in the 300mg/L CCC and 100mg/L PP333 treatment,it achieves the maximum value.(7)Under CCC and PP333 treatment,there is some close relationship among Fv/Fm?Fv'/Fm'?Fv/Fo?ETR??PS? qP these six indicators,and the trends are similar.The variation of NPQ?Y(NO)?Y(NPQ ? Fv/Fm?Fv'/Fm'?Fv/Fo?ETR??PS??qP six indicators are opposite.(8)Under CCC and PP333 treatment,SOD,POD,CAT are all similar with the change trends of Fv/Fm,Fv'/Fm',ETR and ?PS? oppositing with NPQ.And SOD,POD,CAT are all affected by the concentration of CCC and PP333.(9)Known by the treatment concentration and regression analysis of Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' antioxidant activity,chlorophyll fluorescence parameters and plant growth retardants,it can be concluded that:under the CCC treatment,the Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' SOD will increase by the increase of Fv/Fm.Under the treatment of PP333,Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' SOD increases with the increase of Fv/Fm and PP333 concentration.Under the CCC treatment,Scaevola aemula'Sunfan' CAT increases with the increase of ETR.Under the PP333 treatment,Scaevola aemula'Sunfan' CAT increases with the increase of Fv'/Fm' and PP333 concentration.Under the CCC treatment,POD of Scaevola aemula 'Sunfan' increases with the increase of CCC concentration and qP,decreases with the increase of NPQ.
