Soil nutrient content status is one of the main factors to determine the potential productivity. Soil properties and fertility status information can provide the response basis for accurate farmland management. Remote sensing technology is a fast, accurate, efficient and economical method for monitor soil nutrient content.Use Farmland soil nutrients as the research object. HJ-1 satellite data as data sources. Using direct soil spectral characteristics method and indirect crop yields indicate factor method build soil nutrients contain Monitoring model. Using the direct method to build the monitoring models of soil organic matter content. Using the indirect method to build the soil organic matter content and available nitrogen monitoring module. Compare two methods and summarizes their respective advantages. The results show that the HJ-1 satellite data can be used to monitor the content of soil organic and available nitrogen. Two methods have reliable precision. Use HJ-1 satellite data as the data source avoid the question that other hyperspectral monitoring model data are too expensive. Easy to apply in china agriculture.
