Taonan city of Jilin Province is one of the high quality mung bean production areas in China; also it is one of mung bean main production areas in the northeast plain. The mung bean and corn interplanting pattern can suppress the corn plant disease and the mung bean gale disaster occurrence effectively. Moreover, it can maximum the land ecology benefit and safeguard corn production and food security. Furthermore, it increases the income of farmers.The paper used meteorological data in the past twenty-two years, analyzed main climate characteristics of the Taonan city, and carried on the appraisal to the climate compatibility based on the union mung bean and corn's biology characteristics. It studied on mung bean and corn's main plant disease occurrence condition and preventing and controlling method, and used 1992-2013 year meteorological data, mung bean and the corn output of the Taonan city to establish the output prediction model. It provided the best interplanting pattern through the contrast experiment and the analysis on different proportion interplanting pattern to the output the influence.The paper made the following conclusion:(1) Climate characteristics of Taonan city. Temperature per annum averages 5.6?, the amplitude is 3.4-7.5?. July is the hottest month and January is the coldest, the average temperature is 23.8? and- 15.8? respectively. In the past 53 years, the temperature trend is escalation and the tendency rate is 0.04?/10 a, these benefits for corn and mung bean production. Precipitation(largely as rainfall) per annum averages 378.0mm and it concentrates in 6- in August. The precipitation tendency is undulation reduction year by year, the tendency rate for- 1.15mm/10 a. Sunshine hour per annum averages 2917.2h and average relative humidity is 55%.(2) The main mung bean plant disease is: Viral disease, leaf spot, root rot, ophid, etiella zinckenella, mung bean likely and so on. The main Corn plant disease: Corn big, small spot sickness, corn silk smut, corn borer, oriental army worm, underground harmful insect and so on. It proposed the preventing and controlling method from the agricultural angle based on the analysis on plant disease condition.(3) The main meteorological factor affects the mung bean output of the Taonan city is the mature period sunshine hour, blossoms and form pods time sunshine hour?blossoms and the form pods time rainfall and the mature period lowest temperature and the meteorological output presents the correlation approximately.The branching time average temperature inverses correlation with the meteorological output.(4) It suggests the beginning of August precipitation, the late August precipitation and the meteorological output has the remarkable correlational dependence based on each ten-day period light, warm, water and corn's meteorological output correlation analysis. But the beginning of August sunshine, the late August sunshine, the beginning of September sunshine and the meteorological output have the remarkable inverse correlation relations.(5) It suggests the mung bean and the corn interplanting maximum economic efficiency interplanting proportion is 2:1 based on 6 different interplanting experiment that explained the conditions of the interplanting proportion of the light, the heat fully, has ventilated and so on which satisfied the crops to grow to the environmental condition request.The suggestions above may provide the meteorological scientific basis on the mung bean- corn interplanting pattern standardization and technology extention for the Taonan city.
