Marine fishery and Marine aquaculture is traditional industry of our country's marine economy. Fishing gear and forward is an important means of production, the main components are net, ropes,which are affected by wind, wave and flow deformation of hydrology in seawater, or even damaged, and the catches declined and the breeding objects escaped from fish cage,which affected the fishery income, thus fracture strength of netting twine' material is one of the main factors which affected the performance of netting gear and aquaculture facilities, which got fishery production and the researchers attention.This study is based on the technologies of nets, fishing gear and fishing method theory knowledge, aquaculture facilities,etc. Study how to improve the fracture strength of mesh material, based on the modification of PE material and braided line netting technology application development, through the experimental study on the PE material modified netting twine and braided line meshes strong performance.One is fracture strength and nodal strength test of the different mixing ratio of the ternary blend MHMWPE/PP/EPDM material netting twine with ordinary polyethylene netting twine under different diameter size,analysis and study its corresponding strength, extensibility and other performance; two is the strong performance and contrast test research of PE braided line meshes with PE twisting meshes under different netting twine specifications and different weight and different status(dry and wet),. The results are as follows:(1)Ternary blend increases when the diameter of MHMWPE/PP/EPDM tensile strength of the material increases, which is better than ordinary polyethylene netting twine material of the same diameter, and the difference is more and more obvious. The biggest difference between the fracture strengths of 2091.4N, is 1.8 times that of ordinary polyethylene.(2)When the diameter is under the different condition, different mixing ratio of ternary blend material fracture strength is shown with the increase of the content of pp. Ternary blending MHMWPE/PP/EPDM netting twine nodules fracture strength increases when the diameter of the netting twine material increases. When the diameter is 3.4mm,the PP/MHMWPE/EPDM(30%/70%/2%) nodules fracture strength is 1239.5N,which is 1.4 times that of the ordinary polyethylene netting twine. At the same time, netting twine nodules loss rate increases when the content of PP ratio reduces, the maximum rate is 43.16%, which is significantly higher than common polyethylene netting twine material nodules loss rate 21.96%.(3)When the diameter is at the same time, because of the ternary blend MHMWPE/PP/EPDM netting twine strength is high, the ternary blend MHMWPE/PP/EPDM netting twine elongation at break was less than ordinary polyethylene material.(4)Diameter is 1.50 mm, 2.00 mm and 3.00 mm respectively of the tensile strength of PE braided line meshes is greater than the diameter of the corresponding to the 1.59 mm, 2.09 mm and 3.09 mm PE twist line meshes.(5) Diameter of 2.00 mm braided line meshes and the diameter of 2.09 mm twist line meshes in the weight is 50 N, 100 N net fracture strength than the initial state of a slight increase, but in 150 N weight, two kinds of specifications of the fracture strength decreases, and fracture strength of braided line meshes reduced more obvious.(6)The strength of PE braided line meshes increased under wet condition, The strength of PE twist line meshes reduced under wet condition.As a result, compared with the ordinary polyethylene material performance, although the ternary blend MHMWPE/PP/EPDM netting twine nodes parameters of high loss rate, but the fracture strength and elongation at break and other performance index is superior to ordinary polyethylene material, meanwhile the fracture strength of the braided ling meshes is better than one of the twisting meshes,these can be applied in the fishery production.
