By adopting the combination of field investigation and sampling and laboratory analysis method, analyzes the Yellow River Delta area of glebe developing five different land use patterns, MX1: two years alfalfa+one year(corn+Soybean) +one year(wheat+corn), MX2: three years alfalfa+ two years(wheat+corn), MX3: three years alfalfa+one year corn+one year alfalfa, MX4: five years alfalfa, H: pseudoacacia forest land on the effect of soil physical and chemical properties and soil carbon and nitrogen storage. The main results were as follows:1?By means of the determine of soil physical and chemical properties,soil bulk density of MX4 and H is greater than MX3;The same soil depths of the compose of soil machine of discrepancy in different land use patterns is marked;The greast p H value is MX3 in the five land use patterns;The content of soil available phosphorus appears seasonal dynamic change, in the spring,the greast content of soil available phosphorus is MX1(0.27 mg.kg-1), the content of soil available potassium is lowest(49.45 mg.kg-1),the greast content of soil available potassium is MX2(417.68 mg.kg-1),but in the autumn,the greast content of soil available phosphorus is MX4(0.30 mg.kg-1); the greast content of soil available potassium is MX1(436.18 mg.kg-1),the lowest is MX2(61.01 mg.kg-1).2?The highest conent of soil organic carbon(14.52 g.kg-1) and soil total N(1.89 mg.g-1) is the soil depth of 0-5 cm of locust tree forest,in the other soil depths,the highest content of soil organic carbon and soil total N is MX2.In the five land use patterns,the storage of soil organic carbon basic assume as follow:MX2 > H > MX4 > MX3 > MX1,the higest of the storage of soil organic carbon(MX3)(4030.26 g.m-2) is the lowest(MX1)(1763.98 g.m-2) 2.28 times,and the difference of the five land use patterns is remarkable(P<0.05), the storage of soil total N is fit with the storage of soil organic carbon,the highest of the storage of soil total N(MX3)(532.14 g.m-2) is the lowest(MX1)(272.08 g.m-2) 1.96 times.3?MX2 three years alfalfa+twe years(wheat+corn) and locust tree forest is the great land use pattern of improve soil organic carbon and total N,and could provide theoretical foundations to the frequently alfalfa and crop rotation in the estoblished areas of Yellow River Delta.
