The sightseeing orchard is basis on fruit production and put the local culture as the core, with an emphasis on tourism, set production, management, tourism and leisure, science education function in the integration of new industries. Under the background of encouraging market demand and policy guidance, sightseeing orchard developes quite quickly in recent years, but many problems existes in the planning and design of sightseeing orchard, such as the lack of systematically theoretical guidance in sightseeing orchard landscape design and landscape quality assessment. This paper mainly adopts literature research, field observation method, questionnaire method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and applies the knowledge of pomology, landscape ecology, landscape aesthetics and landscape design to establish an AHP sightseeing orchard quality assessment model. Meanwhile, it verifies the case, sightseeing demonstration orchard of Hunan province 731 office. Hope it will provide a reference for later scholars, for related departments to formulate policies and rank orchard grading, for the construction of Changsha sightseeing orchard. Through research and analysis, the following results are made:(1)Sightseeing orchard landscape has three characteristics:overall, ornamental, season. Its landscape design consists natural landscape, artificial landscape and cultural landscape, which is formed by preparation stage, medium-term field research stage, latter industry analysis and design stage.(2)Sightseeing orchard industry in China started relatively late compared to the developed countries, so its development level is slightly backward. However, Hunan's sightseeing orchard industry development level holds the line with the developed regions of Taiwan, Beijing, Zhejiang and Shenzhen. The operation mode of Hunan sightseeing orchard, "government+association+enterprise", is relatively mature and is worthy of reference for other provinces and cities.(3) The current situation of the development of sightseeing orchard in changsha: Tourists satisfaction is high, the orchard function is relatively complete, the infrastructure set up is good, the service attitude is high, but local orchards of foreign traffic unobstructed, the orchard is lack of foreign customers and publicity, service level and management level is not high. Landscape design present situation:the fruittrees plant reasonable, the garden trees is collocate properly, but the garden water scene design is simple, the lack of revetment landscape design and sketch design lack of characteristic and creative, buildings and structures lack of unified design style is tonal, Introduce fruit culture level is low.Aimed at problems existing in the development of sightseeing orchard in changsha city as well as the problems arising from the landscape design is put forward corresponding countermeasures.(4)The paper uses 10 landscape elements of terrain, water, trees, garden plants, road square, building structures, garden ornament, irrigation systems, fruit culture and Hunan culture to establish an AHP sightseeing orchard quality assessment model, goal-rule layer-the criterion layer-indicators level, and provide theoretical support for sightseeing orchard grading.(5)The paper aims at completing the sightseeing demonstration orchard of Hunan province 731 office and verifying it by AHP assessment mode, concluding:731 (office) orchard because of its particularity and as part of hunan province 731 office and 731 orchard uses Israel knight fimm cucumber system, which reduce the landscape diversity, so the planning of the 731 (office) landscape gain the quality for the second level, the overall landscape quality is good, the design is reasonable. Put the 731 (office) sightseeing demonstration orchard as an example, it will complete an integrated system of survey-planning-design-inspection-analysis-optimization to better promote the development of sightseeing orchard.
