Maturity group(MG) is a widely-used system for soybean varieties classification in the world, and the important parameters of reflecting photoperiod and temperature characteristics. Chinese soybean varieties distribute wide area, with substantial varieties types, maturity group ranges between MG0000-MGX, which, MG is the largest number ?of species, one of the most widely distributed groups. In this study from different ecological zones, belong to MG ?group(MG3.0-MG3.9) soybean varieties in Beijing conducted field trials, soybean varieties were compared maturity characteristics, analysised the effect of E1-E4 at different backgrounds genotype, sowing time and developmental stages; comparisons of agronomic traits characteristic of varieties from different regions, analyzed the correlation between traits. Test results are as follows:1. MG? group soybean varieties distribute in Northeast China spring soybean area, Huanghuai-Hai summer soybean area, South region, with 5 sowing types, northern spring type, Huang-Huai spring type, Huang-Huai Summer type, southern spring type, south summer type. With two ecological factors latitude and sowing interaction, MG? group soybean varieties although with similar maturity, but the growth period structures is diverse, spring soybean varieties in northeast China and North America flowering closely and earlier, the Huang-Huai and the South varieties flowering closely and later.Besides northeast spring soybean varieties by sowing time more pronounced impact than other regions, the Huang-Huai sowing varieties are less affected.2. MG? group varieties from different geographic origin and sowing type with 7 kinds of combinations, which, E1e2E3E4 and e1-asE2E3E4 distributing wide area, covering many sowing types.Between dominant E gene mutually reinforcing effect and the cumulative effect.3. E gene value is different, the order of the average effect value in terms of delay flowering and maturity is E1> E3> E2. E gene effect value is also related with sowing time. In spring condition, E gene effect is greater than the value under summer seeding. In addition, maturity characteristics from different geographic origin and planting seasons type of MG ?group soybean cultivars is also affected by gene regulation other than E1, E2, E3, E4.4. important agronomic traits of MG? soybean varieties from different geographic origins and sowing type are compared, although with similar muturity, but there are obvious differences in important agronomic traits. northeast spring soybean varieties with the lowwer bottom pod, less branches, while the southern varieties with higher bottom pod, more branches, Huanghuai- Hai summer with larger seed weight and more pods.5. agronomic traits correlation analysis of different geographic origin and sowing type MG group soybean varieties?, results showed that soybean flowering period with multiple agronomic traits were significantly correlated. Under the premise of similar maturity group, the longer of vegetative growth period of soybean varieties, the number of node number on the main stem, branch number, kernel weight and bottom pod height increases. The results of this study may be designed to optimize the growth period structure and agronomic traits of soybean varieties, targeted to carry out improving and regulating growth and agronomic traits of soybean varietie, promote regional mutual introduction and germplasm resources, widening the soybean genetic basis, deepen the understanding the law of soybean growth and yield trait formation to provide a basis.
