In order to provide theoretical and technological supporting for cultivation of high yield and good quality of super rice by straw returning, choose Super Rice Nanjing44 & Wuyunjing24 as materials, do research on effect of yield, nutrient uptake and quality of rice through straw application (total returning & not returning) and irrigation (AWD& normal irrigation) from 2012 to 2013 in the arable farming test base of Yangzhou university, here comes main results: 1. Yield of 100% straw was greater over than no-returned, increasing 2.4%-6.0%; Yield of "wet and dry" irrigation was highly than normal irrigation, increasing 8.4%-9.0%. Yield of Straw-AWD was significantly over no straw-AWD, straw-normal and no straw-normal, which came to 10.62t.hm-2?10.30t.hm-2. As to yield components, no-returning came higher than straw on spike number per unit area at 6.8%-8.6%, "wet and dry" irrigation higher than normal ways at 2.2% ? 4.3%. No straw-AWD was remarkably better than no straw-normal, Straw-AWD and straw-normal. And the grain number per ear, straw application more than no-returned, AWD better than normal ways, Straw-AWD was significantly over no-straw-AWD, straw-normal and no straw-normal. There was no significant difference in weight of thousand gains and the fruiting rates.2. In the jointing stage, the rate of Nitrogen of rice plant without straw was higher than that of straw, and was also higher on the condition of conventional irrigation than that of wet and dry irrigation, what's more, the rate of that without stalks-conventional treatment was significantly or very significantly higher than other treatments. However, at heading and maturity, the rate of Nitrogen of rice plant after straw was higher than no straw, and was also higher after wet and dry irrigation than conventional irrigation. What's more, the rate of that with straw-wet and dry treatment was significantly or very significantly higher than other treatments. Total nitrogen accumulation and nitrogen uptake at the stage of the main growth stage showed straw> without straw, wet alternate irrigation> General irrigation, straw-wet and dry> No straw-wet and dry> Straw-General> No straw-conventional straw-wet and dry, and the differences among the treatments was significant or very significant differences in the levels. In addition, nitrogen uptake rate at different stages except the former jointing with wet and dry irrigation was significantly higher than that of conventional irrigation, and that of straw treatment was significantly higher than that of no straw treatment.3. According to plant phosphorus ratio, total phosphorus accumulation phase P uptake and phosphorus uptake rate, it showed that the result of straw was higher level than that of no straw, the result of conventional irrigation was higher than that of dry and wet irrigation. Compared all the four managements, straw conventional> straw and dry wet> no straw-conventional> no straw-wet and dry, and most of the differences among them were significant.4. At jointing stage, the plant potassium after straw was higher than no straw, and was also higher after wet and dry irrigation than conventional irrigation. At heading and maturity, the plant potassium without straw was higher than that of straw, and was also higher on the condition of conventional irrigation than that of wet and dry irrigation. In all the growing stage, the total accumulation of potassium, potassium and potassium uptake phase stage absorption rate both showed that the result of straw was higher level than that of no straw, the result of dry and wet irrigation was higher than that of conventional irrigation. Compared all four kinds treatments, it showed straw-wet and dry> no straw-wet and dry> straw-conventional> no straw-conventional, and the process was significant difference among the different treatments.5. Straw application and AWD can observably increase brown rice recovery, milled rice recovery, head rice recovery, decrease chalky rice rate, chalk degree and amylose contents, and had less effect on protein content.
