Both Slash pine and Chinese fir are important commercial timber and plantation species in southern China.Recently,problems such as serious diseases and insect pests,land capability decline and productivity decline have seriously threatened the construction of plantation of slash pine and Chinese fir and sustainable forest management.The preparation and application of complex endomycorrhizal and ectomycorrhizal inocula has drawn wide attentation,which can boot soil fertility,promote the growth of the plant and improve the quality of wood.This paper studied combination modes of 4 ectomycorrhizal fungi,the culture conditions for propagation of 1 endomycorrhizal fungus,the preparation and micro-system effect of complex endomycorrhizal and ectomycorrhizal inocula.Main study results:(1)Combinatorial optimization modes of ectomycorrhizal fungi.We screened solid media for 4 Scleroderma polyrhizum Pers.,Lycoperdon sp.,Lactarius sp.and Lactarius hatsudake Tanaka with serial number LGD-2,LS3,La-HZ3 and RHG1,it was concluded that the solid medium(pine sawdust + vermiculite + modified PDA)was the best for the 4 ectomycorrhizal fungi.The seedlings of slash pine(Pinus elliottii)were inoculated with 8 groups,the results showed that all inocula significantly increased the ground diameter and plant height and strengthened the overall absorption of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium;mixed ectomycorrhizal fungi were not necessarily better than single fungus;LS3/RHG1(1:1)and LGD-2/LS3/RHG1/La-HZ3(2:2:1:1)were the best inocula.(2)Optimization on culture conditions for propagation of the endomycorrhizal fungus.We screened culture conditions for propagation of Glomus mosseae(G.M for short),the results showed that the best host plant,culture substrate,planting density and nutrient solution concentration was Sorghum vulgare Pers.,the culture medium 3(volume ratio,sand:vermiculite:soil=2:1:1),20 plants/pot and 30%strength Hoagland's solution,respectively.(3)Preparation and micro-ecosystem effect of the complex endomycorrhizal and ectomycorrihzal inocula.The complex endomycorrihzal and ectomycorrihzal inocula were used to inoculate slash pine and Chinese fire,the results showed the best combination mode was G.M:LGD-2:LS3:RHG1:La-HZ3 with the weight ratio of 3:2:2:1:1.In the slash pine experiment,the height and ground diameter increased over the check by 28.69%and 65.59%respectively.There was no significant difference(P<0.05)in bacterial number,the numbers of rhizospheric fungi and actinomycetes increased by 21.15%and 333.33%.The pH value decreased by 7.89%,while soil organic matter content increased by 25.52%.The content of available nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium increased by 34.51%,58.80%and 17.24%respectively.In the Chinese fir experiment,the height and ground diameter increased over the check by 57.61%and 60.67%respectively.The number of bacteria increased without significant difference(P<0.05),the numbers of rhizospheric fungi and actinomycetes increased by 13.15%and 200.00%.The pH value decreased by 5.12%,while soil organic matter content increased by 36.60%.The content of available nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium increased by 19.00%,52.23%and 15.93%respectively.
