Dioryctria rubella Hampson belongs to Lepidoptera which Lepidoptera Pyralidae Dioryctria genus Dioryctria. Is one of the most important insect pests from distribution from Yunnan to Northeast China. Hylobitelus xiaoi Zhang is the type of pest in recent years China's forestry outbreak of trunk.Study on damage investigate in masson pine(Pinus massoniana Lamb) seed orchard in Qiannan area at 2013~2015, The most important borers is Dioryctria rublla Hampison and Hylobitelus xiaoi Zhang of we found. Through a comprehensive investigation and station observation, observation record habit?damage mode and harm for crown height of diverse by masson pine, the result that:1. Dioryctria rublla Hampison in Guizhou province has 3 generations a year, hazard ratio was 100%. The larvae insect harm for annual main shoots or side shoots of masson pine. The phenomenon of the shoot tip for harm was nearly 90 degree bend or spiral bending, the place of crooked with resin flow phenomenon, lead to exsciccation and crown deformity of main shoots or side shoots. Serious impact growth and yield of masson pine. A few of larvae could harm for biennial cones, lead to great influence for harvest.2. Dioryctria rubella in masson pine seed orchard harm rate is 100% at Guizhou Qiannan area. From April to Jun is the damage peak period. The percentage of injury on the top of the canopy is the most serious.3. Indoor temperature 30~28 degrees Celsius, the relative humidity of 90% to 80% of the conditions, the duration of the Dioryctria rublla egg is 5 to 8 days, average 6 days,larval stage 30 to 45 days, average 37 days, pupa period is 12 to 16 days, average 14 days. Female after spawning life expectancy is 4 to 7 days, average 5 days; Male 3 to 6 days, average 4 days.4. Annual harm most seriously is the first generation of Dioryctria rublla, the greatest harm generation Masson growth. The occurrence regularity of the pine shoot was closely related to the season, the length of growth and the degree of lignin. The growth and damage of the larvae were closely related to the local environmental factors, which showed a high selectivity and synchronization. Adults have phototaxis, could adopt the method of prevention of light induced killing.5. To investigate the damage of forest by Hylobitelus xiaoi. Forest average murder rate was 52.4%, belongs to the serious harm, the central and southern mbrosia forest edge length was significantly higher than that of the western edge, the vertical height of mbrosia in northern forest edge was significantly lower than the other 4 range of mbrosia height.6. In the direction of the choice is more likely direction which has more sun radiation of Hylobitelus xiaoi. In the northern forest edge and central forest have minimum sunshine radiation, The choice of insect channel orientation is more close to random distribution.
