The tests are intended to explore the influence about the transgenic CP4-EPSPS gene soybean on reproductive function of male rats. The process is based on transgenic CP4-EPSPS gene soybeans and parental soybeans which are used to feed male rats 90 days.By observing the daily habits, weighing of body weight and determining blood biochemical parameters,we could master the effects of the express that transgenic CP4-EPSPS gene to transgenic soybeans on the reproductive function on male rats. It was showed that transgenic CP4-EPSPS gene soybean had no significant effects on the growth conditions in male rats;and by observing the organ coefficient, paraffin and electron micrograph,we realised transgenic CP4-EPSPS gene soybean's effects on the main reproductive organs of male rats;and by the test of sperm aberration and teratogenicity,we could understand if transgenic CP4-EPSPS gene soybean had effects on teratogenic in male rats;by concentrating sexual hormone,ELISA,RT-PCR,we could know the effects on endocrine in male ratsof transgenic CP4-EPSPS gene soybean. The results are as follows:(1)Rats'activities are not abnormal, the body weight and food intake increased steadily, blood biochemical indicators have no significant difference except for aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and total protein.(2)There is no significant difference in the organ coefficients of the main reproductive organs of male rats, both the microstructure and ultrastructure were normal.(3)GM groups of male rats sperm aberration rate is 2%,in the normal range, and compared with the CK group it has no significant difference;then the P values of two groups of pregnant rats implantation and embryo mortality are 0.117,0.192,there is no significant difference, neighter fetal birth weight and birth length, birth tail length nor birth length of foreleg had significant difference;fetal rat visceral and skeletal have no deformity.(4)LHR gene expression in rats of GM group average of 1.0298 ± 0.2711,1.0491±0.264,1.0443±0.28125,respectively.It is no significant difference with CK group.Between the two groups of LHR protein content of P values are 0.263,0.484, 0.295,no significant difference, neighter sex hormone no significant difference.Under the conditions of this experiment,we can not affect the reproductive function of male rats by feeding the transgenic CP4-EPSPS soybean.
