The paper were studies the endogenous hormone contents in the male sterile line and maintainer line of tobacco, and its relationships between the male sterile line and the maintainer line. The sterile line and maintainer line were MSK326 and K326, MSK394 and K394, MSYunyan87 and Yunyan87, respectively. By HPLC, it was determined the endogenous hormone contents of functional leaves and buds in different growth stage. The variety of endogenous hormone were the auxin (IAA), gibberellin (GA), abscisic acid (ABA), n6-isoamylenol adenine (iPAs) and reverse zeatin nucleoside (ZRs). Different growth stage was the seedling period, the rosette stage,10 days after entering the flourishing, squaring period (leaf and a bud), center for flowers (leaves and flower buds).The results were shown as follows:1.The low content of IAA in the seedling stage, The content of IAA in the bud of the bud stage was lower than that of the leaves of the same period. In leaves, each period of the maintainer IAA content were higher than the male sterile lines, in bud and blossom buds, IAA content in sterile lines to was higher than that of the corresponding to keep the content of IAA in bud line.2. The content of ABA in leaves was lower, and the content of ABA in the flower buds in the same period was higher than that of the same period. The contents of sterile lines of the leaves and buds were higher than those in the leaves and buds of the male sterile lines in the leaves and buds of the ABA.3.The content of GA content in the seedling stage to lower than other period, most of the material at budding period's bud in the GA content to below the leaves, and in the period of floret opening, content in flower buds to was higher than the same period of the leaves. The GA content in the leaves of the sterile line was higher than that of the male sterile line. The squaring period bud, the content of male sterile lines to be higher than the maintainer line, and in the period of floret development, maintainer line is higher than the male sterile lines.4. The content of IPAs was lower in the seedling stage and in the group stage, and the content of flower bud in the same period was lower than that of the leaf. The iPAs in the leaves was higher than that in the leaves, and the iPAs content in the bud of the bud was significantly higher than that in the male sterile lines.5. ZRs in seedling stage, tree and budding period of bud, central flowers of grey levels are low. At the same time the flower buds of ZRs in same period was significantly higher than that in leaves. Sterile line and maintainer line, maintainer line in the leaf content than sterile lines, while in the bud sterile lines above the maintainer lines.6. There are balanced relationships between hormones, sterile line's IAA/ABA, GA/ ABA, ZRs+iPAs/ABA value are greater than the maintainer line in the buds, almost showed the same results in the leaves. Compare with the value of IAA/iPAs, GA/iPAs, ABA/iPAs in male sterile line and maintainer line, leaves IAA/iPAs and GA/iPAs were showed maintainer lines is higher than that of sterile lines from seeding to 10 days after entering the flourishing, and opposited from squaring to flowering. ZRs and iPAs ratio showed the same results from seedling stage to center stage, maintainer lines ABA/iPAs ratio were higher than sterile lines in the blade from seedling stage to the budding, but the sterile lineswere greater than the maintainer lines in the center of flowers,and in the bud, the maintainer lines were alway greater than the sterile lines. Each material f, sterile lines'sZRs+iPAs/GA value were generally talled than in maintainer lines rom seedling stage to budding period, but when entered the center flowers,there showed the opposite results.,showed that sterile lines and maintainer line between the department ZRs+ iPAs/GA changed whenbudding into the center of the flower in the process of opening.According to the difference between the contents of the original plant hormones and the hormone levels in the male sterile line of tobacco and its corresponding system. It is believed that the male cytoplasmic sterility of tobacco may have a close relationship with the accumulation or the deficiency of the hormone and the hormone balance.
