Two-line hybrid rice welcomed by rice breeding workers,for freedom of cross and not restore relationship constraints. In order to evaluate the value of the application on the production and provide a reference basis for its application in rice breeding practice,The agronomic traits, characteristics and outcrossing heterosis of the male sterile line LiangS were studied.The main results were as follows:1. The period from seeding to initial heading of middle-season dual-use nuclear male sterile line LiangS is 58 days,The plant height 54.24cm, flag leaf length 30.5cm, flag leaf width 1.84cm, angle and flag opening was less than 6.5 degrees,and it had faster leaf-appearance, stronger tillering ability, Plants with shorter properties,it has a strong lodging resistance.The roughness of rice, milled rice andmilled rice rate of three standard quality rice, chalkiness quality rice reached the secondary standard, the sterility start temperature at about 23.5?,The under natural conditions for seed propagation has high yield at Sanya,Hainan Province in winter.2. The results showed that the duration of heading lasted 8d for liangS. First flowering at the next day of appearing spikelets, and lasted 10d. Full flowering lasted 4d from the 5th to 8th day. numbers of flowerings accounted for 75.96% of the total in the period of full flowering, flowering period concentrated. Full flowering was late 3d comparing with top heading; flowering peak at 9:00-11:30. Flowering rate of forenoon was 86.48%. Exposure rate of stigma was 88.46%, higher viability of stigma, it was the strongest at flowering day and was 56.82%. Duration of spikelets stretch lasted 90?390min. Angle of spikelets stretch was 33.2°.Amount of GA was 15g/667m2 appropriately for production of hybrid seeds of large areas.3. In the product test, the 11 combinations had significant heterosis., the theoretical yield was higher than the corresponding male parent material, Which performed the best combination, up to over Pro 88.20%, The lowest combination also reached 21.20% of the super Pro advantage ratio. Actual yield monitor, The actual yield,10 groups showed positive heterosis, the optimal combination of 62.2 percentage points higher than the male. A number of combinations showed a strong dominance,11 combinations of theoretical yield of only 1 groups of relative control CK1 (Y Liang You 1 Hao) was negative, and the optimal combination of the ratio of over control to 20.78%;Compared with CK2 (Tianyouhuazhan) 3 positive control super advantage, The optimal combination of super control ratio was 7.19%. The actual output,7 combinations of the actual production of CK1 have positive heterosis compared with the control, optimal combination of super control odds ratio for 21.64%; 6 group was better than control CK2, optimal combination of super control odds ratio of 12.95%, otherwise two groups reached more than 10% over the control advantages.
