Analyzing spatial pattern of population is beneficial to explore the current situation of spatial pattern,spatial distribution,coexistence mechanism and succession tendency.The 13 dominant spaces of the large plot in Jin Zinshan as study object was taken to analyze its species composition and structure,spatial pattern and spatial correlation in this study.The main results are as follows.(1)The 13 dominant populations come from 13 genera of 9 families and distribute the tree layer,mesophanerophytes layer and shrub layer of evergreen deciduous broadleaved forest in Jin Zishan.at species score of 8:3:2.According to the important value of dominant species.The tree layer contains Castanea henryi,Carpinus fargesiana,Quercus serrata,Bothrocaryum controversum,Acer davidii,Populus lasiocarpa,Swida macrophylla and Betula luminifera.The mesophanerophytes layer contains Ficus heteromorpha.,Nothopanax davidii,Viburnum betulifolium;The shrub layer contains Eurya alata Kobuski and Helwingia japonica.Castanea henry and Populus lasiocarpa are respectively the recessionary and stable species,and the other dominant species are the growth species.(2)The 13 dominant populations are aggregated distribution in the research scale(0-40 m).The aggregation intensity(L(r))of Castanea henryi,Quercus Serrata,Acer davidii,Ficus heteromorpha and Eurya alata Kobuski first and decreased afterwards falles first and rise later in 0-10 m,and rises first and fall later in 10-40 m,and the aggregating scale(r corresponding with L(r)max)is in 20-30 m.The aggregation intensity of Bothrocaryum controversum,Carpinus fargesiana,Betula luminifera and Populus lasiocarpa rises first and fall later,their aggregating scale is 20 m,27 m,19 m and 18 m.The aggregation intensity of Viburnum betulifolium and Swida macrophylla falls first and rise later in 0-10 m,and rises in 10-40 m,their aggregating scale is lager then 40 m.(3)The spatial pattern of population of the tree layer and mesophanerophytes layer changes from aggregated distribution to random distribution and the distance between individuals is increasing with the rising age.Which indicating that the population selfthinning is an impotent role in the development process of dominant populations of the lage plot in Jin Zishan(4)The interspecific correlation of 13 dominant populations can be classified 5 types containing positive correlation(9 specific pair),positive correlation-uncorrelation(3 specific pair),positive correlation-uncorrelation-negative correlation(5 specific pair),negative correlation(8 specific pair)and negative correlation-uncorrelationpositive correlation(4 specific pair).The tree layer contains the all types abovementioned,the mesophanerophytes layer contains positive correlation and positive correlation-uncorrelation-negative correlation,the shrub layer contains negative correlation.The negative correlation is the reflection of interspecific competition.In these cases of significant of positive correlation riseing first and fall later with scale,the positive correlated maximum of most specific pair is in 20-30 m.In these cases of negative correlation changing with scale,the initiative cale of positive correlation of Bothrocaryum controversum with Quercus serrata,Populus lasiocarpa with Acer davidii,Carpinus fargesiana with Populus lasiocarpa,and Bothrocaryum controversum with Carpinus fargesiana is 17 m?26 m?32 m and 34 m.
