Clostridial enteritis was caused by Clostridium perfringens(C.perfringens)infection that could damage rabbitry industry seriously, therefore leading to great financial losses. In recent years, rabbitry growed rapidly in Zibo area, especially the large-scale rabbit farms had made great development, but with the development of large-scale rabbit farms and antibiotic growth promoters increasingly stringent restrictions at home and abroad, the disease of C.perfringens became even more serious.Rabbits infected by single or multiple serum types of C.perfringens increased every year, following serious economic losses of rabbitry industry. This study aimed to examine the main toxic types of C.perfringens isolated from the suspected rabbits with clostridial disease.Between November 2014 and May 2015,we collected the livers of suspected rabbits from large-scale rabbit farms in Zibo region to obtain the C.perfringens, and then Multiple-PCR was used to analyze the toxic types. The results showed that a total of 30 strains of C.perfringens were collected, all isolates analyzed with Multiple-PCR.On this basis,in order to preparation of high titer antisera for treating diseases caused by C.perfringens, selected strains of C.perfringens were used to prepare high concentration of toxin. The high effect antibody was obtained by immunizing sheep with the toxin and inactivated vaccine many times.Indirect ELISA was used to monitor the antibody level of sheep, and neutralization test in mice was used to detect protective effect of the serum. The results show that 0.1 ml high potency antisera can neutralize 480 units MLD in mice. The antisera has a good prospect of application in rabbit farms.
