Heterodera elachistais Ohshima is an important parasite of rice by parasiting the root of rice and then affecting the absorption of water and nutrient. Different number of cysts of rice cyst nematode were inoculated on the rice seedings, root fresh weight, height, and SPAD value, chlorophyll content of malondialdehyde have been tested. The results showed that rice seedling root fresh weight and height were the lowest by inoculating 150 cyst/L soil, the effects were significant on chlorophyll, the quantity of chlorophyll in 1TH and 2nd leaf had decreased 31% and 35.7%, and the content of malondialdehyde in seedling root was highest, cell membranes were being hurt the most.This study provided the basis for the development of upland rice cyst nematode controlling measures.By using Pluronic(?) F-127 gel as a medium, six varieties of rice including conventional rice, two-line and three-line hybrid rice were employed to compare the attraction to H. elachista 2nd larvaes and infectivity of the nematode,respectively. And the reproductive capacity of the rice cyst nematode were compared in different rice varieties by the indoor potted. The result showed that the attraction of conventional rice Huanghuazhan to the 2nd larvaes were higher than the two-line hybrid rice YLiangyou1, three-line hybrid rice Fengyouyuan227.While YLiangyou 1 was higher than Fengyouyuan227, and significantly lower than ? You416. But there were no significant defferences among the three-line hybrid rice; However, in the results of the infection experiments, the number of the nematode juveniles in roots of the three-line hybrid rice Fengyouyuan227 was higher than Huanghuazhan and YLiangyou 1. Among the three-line hybrid rice, the number of the nematode juveniles in roots of ? You416 was significantly higher than TYou272; The potted experiment found that the number of cysts of the three-line hybrid rice ? You416 and TYou272 were higher than two kinds of conventional rice, and Huanghuazhan was significantly higher than Xiangwanxian13; Among the four kinds of rice, the number of cysts of YLiangyou 1 was significantly higher than ? You416,TYou272 and Huanghuazhan.Through two years of outdoor potted experiment, used red-yellow soil,yellow soil,alluvial soil and sandy soil respectively, studied the effects of different soil types, different rice varieties, and difference water management patterns on reproduction of H. elachista.The results showed that semi-arid and interm ittent irrigation water control mode were in favor of H. elachista reproduction and multiplication, and shallow layer of continuous irrigation were not conducive to the reproduction of H. elachista, and sandy soil was not conducive to the reproduction of H. elachista.
