N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt(DMG-Na)on growth performance, meat quality and antioxidant function of broilers.Discussing the mechanism of N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt to improve the production performance and antioxidant capacity of broilers, determine the optimum adding dosage.A total 720 1 d-age AA broiler chickens were randomly allocated to six groups with 6 replicates, and fed commercial starter diet which was supplemented with N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt 300,500,1000,1500 and 2000 mg/kg respectively for 42 days. The study mainly contained four trial.Trial 1 was conducted to evaluate the effect of N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt(DMG-Na)on growth performance, nutrient apparent metabolic rate and digestive enzyme activities of broilers. The results showed that:(1)Adding N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt increased the average daily gain of broilers(P<0.05)and decreased feed gain ratio significantly(P<0.01).The group 1000 mg/kg displays the best production performance.(2)Feeding with N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt supplementation of 1000,1500 and 2000 mg/kg improved crude protein apparent metabolic rate of 42 day old of broilers compared with control group(P<0.05).(3)Supplementation of 500 mg/kg and 1000 mg/kg increased lipases activities of pancreas(P<0.05),while the tendency of increased trypsin activities was observed in 1000 mg/kg group compared with control group though not significantly(P>0.05).Feeding with N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt supplementation of 1500 mg/kg and 2000 mg/kg improved trypsin activities of broilers(P<0.05).Trial 2 was conducted to evaluate the effect of N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt(DMG-Na)on organ indexes and slaughter performance of broilers. The results showed that:(1)Feeding with N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt supplementation of 2000 mg/kg improved spleen index of broilers significantly(P<0.05).(2)Adding N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt increased the percentage of eviscerated carcass and thigh muscle of broilers(P<0.05).The group 1500 mg/kg displayed the best slaughter performance.Trial 3 was conducted to evaluate the effect of N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt(DMG-Na)on blood physiobiochemical indices and antioxidation function of broilers. The results showed that:(1)Compared with control group, supplementation of 1000 mg/kg increased blood T3 level of 21 days broilers(P<0.05),N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt has no significant effect on blood physiobiochemical indices of 42 days broilers(P>0.05).(2)Adding N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt mainly effected on blood and liver total antioxidant capacity.Feeding with N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt supplementation above 500mg/kg improved blood T-AOC level of 42 days broilers significantly(P<0.05);As for the liver, the dose above 1000 mg/kg increased T-AOC level of 42 days broilers compared with control group(P<0.05).Trial 4 was conducted to evaluate the effect of N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt(DMG-Na)on meat quality and antioxidation function of broilers. The results showed that:(1)Feeding with N,N-dimethylglycine sodium mainly affected breast muscle meat quality indices.Supplementation of 1000 mg/kg and 1500 mg/kg significantly decreased cooking loss of breast muscle of 42 day old of broilers compared with control group(P<0.01),while supplementation of 2000 mg/kg decreased cooking loss of breast muscle(P<0.05).supplementation of 1500 mg/kg and 2000 mg/kg decreased drip loss(96 h postmortem)of breast muscle of broilers compared with control group(P<0.05).In terms of shear force, the dose of 1000-2000 mg/kg N,N-dimethylglycine sodium reduced shear force of breast muscle of broilers significantly(P<0.01).(2)Feeding with N,N-dimethylglycine sodium mainly affected antioxidation function of breast muscle.1000 mg/kg N,N-dimethylglycine sodium increased T-AOC levels of the breast muscle compared with the control group(P<0.05).In conclusion:(1)Feeding with N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt supplementation of 1000-1500 mg/kg had raised apparent metabolic rate and digestive enzymes of broilers, and significantly improved the growth performance of broilers.(2)N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt promoted the development of pancreas effectively, enhanced the immune function and significantly increased the antioxidant capacity of broilers, the group 1000-2000 mg/kg displayed the best effects.(3)N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt improved the slaughter performance and meat quality of broilers significantly, which also enhanced the antioxidant capacity of breast muscle, the group 1000-1500 mg/kg also displayed the best effects. The experiment suggests adding N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt in broiler corn soybean meal with the recommended amount of the optimum adding dosage was 1000-1500 mg/kg. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | broilers, N,N-dimethylglycine sodium salt, growth performance, meat quality indices, antioxidation function | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
