Soil salinity affects severely the growth and development of vegetable crops,and restricts the crop yield and quality improvement.It has become an important affair to solve soil salinization,utilize of saline-alkali soil resources and increase crop production.Eggplant(Solanum melongena L.),also known as the Soviet Union fall,Kunlun melon,is a herb in solaunm.It is widely cultivated,supplied all the year and the people love it for its delicious and nutritious.It is more sensitive to the environment,so and it belongs to moderate salt-tolerant plants.At present,the studies of eggplant focuse on finding a suitable rootstock and finding the suitable Exogenous substances to Improve its salt resistance,such as Brassinosteroids,polyamines.With the development of new chemical substances,we believe the research on eggplant salt resistance will bring new opportunities.Salicylic acid and spermidine are widely found in plants.They are involved in a variety of metabolic pathways,with a variety of physiological activity,so as to be considered a "plant hormones." Currently,there are many researches on cucumbers,tomatoes,peppers and other vegetable crops using salicylic acid and spermidine in anti-biotic and abiotic stresses.But few studies on eggplant under salt stress using the two Synthetics and the physiological response mechanism has not been elucidated.In this study,after screening salt tolerance of different genotypes eggplant,we found a good range of concentrations of these two exogenouses,then compare the two results,which will help to reveal the physiological mechanisms and Provide a technical basis for eggplant efficient cultivation.The Main results were as follows:1.Salt tolerance of the 12 eggplant cultivars were compared by membership function method,and selected three high salt tolerant,six moderate salt tolerant and three sensitivity salt tolerant eggpalnt cultivars.2.The sensitive cultivar "hei guan zao qie" was selected as the test material,and Study the effects of different concentrations of SA and Spd under salt stress(150mmol/L NaCl).The results showed that:1mM SA and 1mM Spd can increase the growth rate of blades better,and have a better function on alleviating the injury.in addition to these,1mMSpd is better in terms of dry matter accumulation.3.The leaves of the four-leaf eggplant seedlings under salt stress were sprayed with 1 mM SA and 1mM Spd,respectively,and the physiological and biochemical effects on plant growth were investigated.The results showed that the both chemicals can not only promote plant growth,increase fresh and dry weight of plants,protect cell membrane structure,but also increase chlorophyll content,pro line content and antioxidant enzyme activity.But adjustment capacity was limited.And,1 mM Spd was more effectively in improving the salt tolerance of eggplant.Under normal cultivation,1 mM Spd also promote the accumulation of dry matter,but there is a tendency to suppress the growth of eggplant seedlings with 1 mM SA.
