In recent years,the development of minor grain industry is of great significance in food security,improving food structure,increasing farmers' income,alleviating poverty in rural areas and raising the utilization rate of agricultural land.Although the demand for grains has been increasing,the grain yield was still not high.The reason is the lack of guidance of scientific and effective cropping technology for farmers,mainly reflecting in the unreasonable fertilization and tillage patterns.Thus,resulting from asymmetric information,farmers only access minor grain planting guide information through television or radio.For data management,there is no data management system of grain varieties information and other related data,if any,their management system only have simple records.Therefore,it is necessary to establish the data management system of minor grains and realize data application and data extraction.Based on the GIS technology,this research investigated the constructions of soil nutrient content database,minor grain fertilization models and expert knowledge base,minor grain fertilization decision support system and other aspects of the application system.The work this study completed and the function our system realized including the following aspects:1.The framework of WebGIS based decision making system for grain crop fertilization in Shandong province was designed.According to the requirement of decision making system,system framework,database model,expert knowledge base were established.2.Research and determine the database storage structure based on GIS.According to the storage requirement of GIS database,the Fundamental Geographic and Environmental Information database of minor grain planting and fertilization in Shandong Province was set up.3.A scientific and reasonable fertilization model was selected to determine the coefficient of fertilization model.4.An expert knowledge base of minor grain fertilization was established.By the abstraction process of expert knowledge,the database which is applicable for data storage and data callback was set up.5.The fertilization model database,expert knowledge base and GIS database were coupled to get the model of spatial fertilization.Based on the MapObject platform,the decision system of minor grain planting and fertilization was established.
