The restoration and reconstruction of vegetation are the basis of windbreak and stabilization of sands.Seedling quality is the main factor affecting the survival rate of afforestation in desert.Amorpha fruticosa is main shrub species for afforestation in desert.In order to reduce the cost of cultivating long root-seeding and simplify the long root-seeding cultivation technology.This study,Amorpha fruticosa as materials,were planted on the ground,PVC board,high plot,root-guiding tube in Yanchi experimental site in Ningxia and Yulin experimental site in Shaanxi.Comparison of four kinds of cultivation techniques of Amorpha fruticosa nursery stock planted about total biomass,shoot biomass,root biomass,main root length and each root index.Study on the effects of different cultivation methods on long root-seeding biomass of Amorpha fruticosa.Study on the effects of different cultivation methods on main root length and root index.We calculated the cost and seedling yield of different cultivation techniques.The aim of the experiment is the choice of a more conducive to improving the quality of the ground part of Amorpha fruticosa and root growth and lower the cost of the long root-seedling cultivation technology,Extensive Amorpha fruticosa long root-seeding cultivation techniques were carried out in Mu Us desert.The technique are applied to all kinds of shrubs suitable for planting in Mu Us desert.It will play an active role in speeding up the vegetation formation and improving the ecological environment in sandy areas.The test results are as follows:1.In Yanchi experimental area,the biomass,main root length and the root index of Amorpha fruticosa for the PVC board is the best,then the root-guiding tube is followed,flat ground minimum,the high plot is between the root-guiding tubel and the ground.The PVC board produced the Amorpha fruticosa main root length was 54.00 ?.High plot and root-guiding tube cultivation of Amorpha fruticosa main root length were 45.83 ?,48.67 ?.PVC board,high plot and root-guiding tube cultivation of Amorpha fruticosa in main root length,root total length,root total surface area,root average diameter,root total volume are compared to ground,showed significant difference;2.In the Yulin experimental area,PVC in cultivated long root-seedlings in biomass,main root length and the root index showed the best.PVC in cultivated long root-seedlings of Amorpha fruticosa main root length was 101.33 ?,reached the requirements of forest long root-seedling,High plot and root-guiding tube cultivation of Amorpha fruticosa main root length were 71.33 ?,81.67 ?,more than 60 ?.High plot and root-guiding tube cultivation of Amorpha fruticosa can be absorbed into the deep water below the soil surface 60 ?;3.The cost of PVC board is the lowest,saving 16.7% than the high plot,and saving 65.28% than the root-guiding tube.According to the principle of applicability and economy of seedling raising,it is suggested to generalize PVC board long root-seedling cultivation technology;...
