Microporous ceramic infiltration irrigation is a new irrigation method, with the micro porous ceramic emitter as the main component, the internal and external water potential difference of the emitter is the driving force, and it directly supplies water to the root of the crop. The utility model has the advantages of reducing soil evaporation,no influence on ground operation and high water use efficiency. The development and improvement of material microporous ceramic emitter has achieved initial results, but the study on the application effect of microporous ceramic infiltration irrigation is less and less, the working parameters of urgent need to clear microporous ceramic emitter and preliminary application. Therefore,it is necessary to select a crop to irrigate using microporous ceramic emitters,in order to obtain the optimal design flow and pressure parameters and related irrigation characteristics, providing a reference for the popularization and application in the large area.In this paper, the effect of the design flow rate and working pressure on the growth and yield of lettuce was studied by using the method of greenhouse experiment and pot experiment:(1)The design flow rate of microporous ceramic emitters can affect the growth of lettuce. The effects of ceramic emitters with different design flow rate on crop water consumption, physiological characteristics and yield were different.Design flow rate had significant effect on yield and water use efficiency, but had little effect on soil water content. When the design flow was different, the growth of lettuce was more consistent, but the smaller the design flow rate, the higher the plant growth index, such as plant height, leaf length, leaf width and so on.Therefore,it is necessary to optimize the design of microporous ceramic emitters for greenhouse vegetable crops.By comparing the three kinds of design flow processing microporous ceramic emitters, under SY1(design flow 0.72L/h),crop growth is significantly better than the other two treatments, the advantages of the microporous ceramic emitter for the irrigation of lettuce under the designed flow rate are illustrated.(2)The working pressure of the microporous ceramic emitter can affect the growth of lettuce.Under the condition of-0.2m-0.2m stress, the growth of lettucewas consistent, but the soil moisture content was too high because of the high working pressure(0.5m).The effect of working pressure on yield and water use efficiency of lettuce was significant. The micro porous ceramic emitter is more suitable for the cultivation of lettuce under the working pressure. Therefore, under the0m-0.2m treatment, the growth of the crop was significantly better than the other two treatments, which indicated that the micro ceramic irrigation can be used for the irrigation of lettuce in the working pressure range.(3)Microporous ceramic emitters with small working pressure and design flow are more suitable for greenhouse lettuce cultivation. When the SY3 irrigation and subsurface drip irrigation were applied to the lettuce, the deep water leakage occurred in the irrigation of lettuce, and the soil moisture content decreased to the lowest value in the deep soil layer. Two different irrigation methods, growth condition, lettuce microporous ceramic emitter SY1 treatment of soil moisture and water use efficiency to achieve optimal in all treatments;underground drip irrigation treatment of each index is better than the microporous ceramic emitter SY3 processing for microporous ceramic emitters SY2.It is further confirmed that the micro porous ceramic emitter SY1(design flow 0.72L/h)of 1200 degrees Celsius, the working pressure in the range of 0m-0.2m is a reasonable parameter for the irrigation of lettuce.
