Global climate change will lead to an increase in rainfall,which will increase the soil water content.The increase of soil water content has a direct impact on soil animal community.This paper studied the soil animal response to water content in the different forest,Schima superba?Schima superba-Lithocarpus and Phyllostachys heterocycla forest.The quantitative characteristics,main groups and diversity of the community in different seasons,under different vertical were analyzed.The temporal and spatial differences of soil animals in response to rising water content were investigated.This study is helpful to reveal how does the soil animal response precipitation change caused by global change in Tiantong forest park in Zhejiang province.The main results of this study are as follows:(1)Under the three kinds of forests,the increase of water content makes the group number and the density of soil animal community increased in each season.The increase of water content of let the density of soil animal community significant increase in summer(P<0.05).Among all tested environmental factors,water content were the main factors affecting the distribution of soil animals.The total nitrogen and total phosphorus was extremely significant decreased with the increase of water content(P<0.01).The increase of water content has little effect on temperature,organic matter and soil bulk density(P>0.05).The increase of water content make the density group index increased in each season.In the plum rain season,there was a higher similarity between the plum early rain season and after the plum rain season(0.59),which indicated that the increase of water content had a certain effect on the community,but this effect was alleviated after the continuous increase.(2)Under the three kinds of forests,the response of soil animals to the increase of water content has the "Surface-aggregation" phenomenon.With the increase of water content,in the litter layer and the soil 0-5cm layer increased significantly.In the litter layer,Nematode,Collembola and Hymenoptera was significant increased(P<0.05).Summer and autumn have more obvious vertical stratification.The community density was no significant difference in different vertical layer in winter and spring(P>0.05).With the increase of water content,the density group index decreased slightly in the 0-5cm layer and the other layers increased.(3)With the increase of the water content soil animal density increased significantly in Phyllostachys heterocycle forest(P<0.05).With the increase of soil water content in summer,compared with other seasons,the similarity of soil animal communities in summer was lowest(moderate dissimilarity)and the coefficient of variation(35.5)was highest than that in the other three seasons.Coefficient of variation was positively correlated with temperature(r=0.704,p=0.011).The increase of temperature makes the soil animals more different among the three forest types.
