Phloridzin,the Flavonoid Digydrochalcone of phenolic compound,largely exists in apple branches,leaves and roots.As an ubiquitous organic matter,the branches are easy to cover.However,there are few reports on that the release of substances from the shoot have the effect on plant in the covering process.In order to determine the change of the content phloridzin and its effect on the physiological metabolism of the rootstock,Checked the content of phloridzin in soil by the means of high performance liquid chromatography.And exogenous addition of different concentrations phloridzin on apple rootstock Malus baccata plant morphology and physiological function.The main result as following:1.After first covering with branch,the content of phloridzin in different soil layers distributed differently in different years.Except that in the first year,the content of Phloridzin over 0 cm-20 cm in the soil layer(20 cm-40 cm),in the second and third year,the content of phloridzin over 20 cm-40 cm in the soil layer(0 cm-20 cm),the content of phloridzin increased in different soil layers,the increased speed of soil layer(0 cm-20 cm)higher than the soil layer(20 cm-40 cm),the content of Phloridzin up to 7.58 mg·kg-1 which is the highest in the third year covering with branch.2.There is no obvious hurt for seedlings of Malus baccata when adding the solution with the concentration of 4.23 mg·kg-1 phloridzin.The blade can enhance the florescence characteristics and enhance the heat dissipation,maintain normal physiological function,the dry weight and growth of the system increased significantly,the root's activity and active absorbent area remained normal level.MDA,H2O2 Content and O2-productive rate increased first and then decreased.SOD,POD,CAT.APX,GR activity was significantly higher than that of the control group,EMP pathway and TCA respiratory intensity increased,PPP pathway was not significantly different from the control group.3.Extraneous source added the phloridzin up to 7.58 mg·kg-1 and 15.16 mg-kg-1,which can inhibit the growth of normal cells,the inhibitory effect of 15.16 mg kg-1 was the strongest,and the growth was significantly decreased.Leaf photo synthetic rate,chlorophyll content,PS maximum photochemical efficiency decreased,MDA,H2O2 content and O2-production rate continued to rise,SOD activity increased first and then decreased,POD,CAT,APX,GR activity was significantly lower than control group,the membrane permeability increased,the membrane potential decreased,and the cytochrome c/a ratio decreased,EMP pathway and TCA cycle were inhibited,and the proportion of PPP pathway was increased,HK?PFK?SDH?MDH?6-PDH significantly down,G-6-PDH,PK up.
