It is necessary to maintain its biological diversity and enrich its landscape plant species because the geology and geographical conditions of the midwest Inner Mongolia,which requires to select strong-drought-resistant,cold-resistant plants and overwintering plants easily cultivated in this region.Ammopiptanthus mongolicus is a native tree species in arid areas of western Inner Mongolia,and also one of several evergreen shrubs in the region,meanwhile is the national two-grade endangered and protected species.In this paper,the author carried out the shootcutting experiment of ammopiptanthus mongolicus in the nursery base of the Dongsheng District in Ordos,Inner Mongolia.The experiment observes the growth indice of the experimental seedlings of the ammopiptanthus mongolicus and explores out the optimum conditions for the growth of shootcutting seedlings of ammopiptanthus mongolicus in order to improve the production quality and speed of seedlings.The following conclusions can be drawn through the experiment:(1)Analyzing from the perspective of rooting rate,the combination of various factors and the optimal combination of various factors level of shootcutting of ammopiptanthus mongolicus are A2B1C2D2,that is to say,the medium proportion of vermiculite and turfy soil is 7:3,select top branches,the length of cuttings is 10cm,rooting powder concentration is 500ppm.(2)Analyzing from the perspective of root length,the combination of various factors and the optimal combination of various factors level of shootcutting of ammopiptanthus mongolicus are A2B1C2D3,that is to say,the medium proportion of vermiculite and turfy soil is 7:3,select top branches,the length of cuttings is 10cm,rooting powder concentration is 1000ppm.(3)Analyzing from the perspective of root dry weight,the combination of various factors and the optimal combination of various factors level of shootcutting of ammopiptanthus mongolicus are A2B4C4D2,that is to say,the medium proportion of vermiculite and turfy soil is 7:3,select whole branch,the length of cuttings is 20cm,rooting powder concentration is 500ppm.(4)Analyzing from the perspective of aboveground biomass,the combination of various factors and the optimal combination of various factors level of shootcutting of ammopiptanthus mongolicus arc A2B1C2D3,that is to say,the medium proportion of vermiculite and turfy soil is 7:3,select top branches,the length of cuttings is 10cm,rooting powder concentration is 1000ppm.(5)Analyzing from the perspective of root effect index,the combination of various factors and the optimal combination of various factors level of shootcutting of ammopiptanthus mongolicus are A2B1C2D3,that is to say,the medium proportion of vermiculite and turfy soil is 7:3,select top branches,the length of cuttings is 10cm,rooting powder concentration is 1000ppm.(6)Comprehensive analysis of multiple factors indicates that the optimal combination of shootcutting of ammopiptanthus mongolicus orthogonal experiment is A2B1C2D3,that is to say,the medium proportion is 7:3,under the conditions of top cutting position,10cm cutting length and 1000ppm root powder concentration,the rooting rate,root length,root dry weight,aboveground biomass,root effect index of the shootcutting of ammopiptanthus mongolicus can reach a relatively high level.
