Chenopodium quinoa willd,annual dicotyledon,has high nutrition and good for health care.During disease survey in major production areas in Inner Mongolia,we found quinoa leaf spot disease was a common disease which badly affect quinoa growth and production,caused large economic loss.This study focus on occurrence and prevention of quinoa leaf spot disease,and the results showed as followed:The leaves samples were collected from Inner Mongolia liangcheng quinoa region,3 strains were isolated by morphology and molecular identification which belonged to Alternaria.cross-linking are spore(Alternaria),but belong to different species.Basic on biological characteristics of strain LC-4,the strain could grow in 10 ??35 ?;the best temperature for strain growth was 25 ?,30 ? was best temperature for spore gennination,the best pH is 7,the strain grew slowly as the pH increased.The most suitable carbon source was maltose,and the optimum nitrogen source is the beef paste.The effective prevention of this disease was determined by using mycelium inhibition method.Results showed 10%phenyl ether JiaHuan was the optimum chemical for disease control;Kl,K2 and K4,K8 from40 strains were isolated from seeds and soil.Different planting period,plant distance,and variety of quinoa had influence on quinoa leaf spot;Disease incidence rate would increase as planting time delaying.Different distances caused different disease incidence rates,and the rate was lower when plant distance was 26.7 cm.There was no high resistance and immunity variety found.
